A funny story about this ferris wheel. It is called the London eye. When they built it, it was laid across the river Thames. When they were trying to lift it up, (they being British Airways, the company that owns it) they ran into trouble and couldn't lift it to its upright position. Richard Branson (Virgin Enterprises) took the oppurtunity to fly a balloon over the eye saying "British Airways can't get it up." Yes, that was meant to be an innuendo.
