Fickle, Fickle me

Well I changed my mind. I decided I will give more space between pictures, so I'm going to make this post, wait a couple days, then post pictures. By the way, if you haven't yet, feel free to peruse the pictures from Alaska below. You can see Alaska in all it's excitingness, from the "Northern Most" Denny's in the world to the "mildly penis-shaped tree" (2 references, just for you Orion! :D). This post will likely be short as I've kept un-busy this week.

Gaming:
I played about 3 hours of Starcraft with Steven the day after I got back from Vegas. It's been the only Starcraft I've played since June 17th. I miss playing. Recently, I finished up Ace Combat 6: which is basically a combat flight sim for the 360. It was a good game, but the storyline got in the way too often (I would have preferred no story at all, the one they had was really stupid). I've moved on to playing Mercenaries 2, which is great. It's got everything fun about Mercenaries 1, plus they improved on it. Also, for those of you that played the first Mercenaries, you will be extremely ecstatic to learn that your mercenary can now swim. I know I was since in the first game, my guy had a really hard time not getting caught in the water and of course once you're in, there's never a spot where you can get out of it. Anyway, without Guild Wars, I have a ton of free time that I've been using to get extremely bored, so I've started watching proleagues of Starcraft with the hopes that I will someday be able to understand what the hell Steven and Keir are talking about half the time. I also have been tuning into an old pro tournament (good players of yesteryear (mainly watching it for my boy, Nal_Ra)) that I have found to be entertaining.

Grandpa's house:
I finished moving my aunt out of her house with my dad's cousin's son, who took a lot of stuff that my aunt and grandpa didn't need, including all grandpa's loose metal. I also singlehandedly repacked the entire pod last Friday because it was not efficiently packed I thought and I was right. I was able to clear a whole room of boxes in the space I saved, hooray for efficiency. Now I have to finish up grandpa's shed before he moves. He moves at the beginning of August. Speaking of which, I might have a job opportunity involved in packing and unpacking and possibly (a small chance) moving things there as well. You would be getting paid of course (more timely this time though, sorry Orion, I'll get you the money eventually). I'll make another post when we get more details on the plan.

The weekend:
Well Davis and Steven were both gone this weekend, so Orion and I thought about doing something, but we didn't because he signed off and then I thought he had given up so I did too. The next day, I got a message from the night before about a plan to go hang out at the mall for videogames. D'oh. The problem is there were no girls around because they were either gone or seeing Coldplay. I've been cockblocked by Coldplay for the last time I hope.

Ok well see, that wasn't so bad. My classes are going well. I'm going to wash the truck and thoroughly clean it either tomorrow or Wednesday. Frisbee is going to hopefully get back on track with people actually showing up and hopefully I won't be needing a knee brace this summer (it's been hurting pre-physical therapy level recently). Well Steven and I are going to play some Starcraft now (huzzah!) so peace out.
