Well I am back from Seabrook. Well okay, I have been for a while now actually. So it's been pretty quiet since I got back so I guess I'll just tell you that I posted the pictures below in backwards order and I'll just get onto the post now.
Monday:
I was informed at 11:00 that I would be actually not using the breeze, which was planned on before. Before I could utter a big "wtf why am I just hearing this now," mom said dad was calling my grandpa and he would call me back when he got a hold of him to let me know when to go over and pick up my grandpa's car which is pretty much the same as the breeze in terms of seating and mostly similar in terms of driving which isn't a big deal when it's only for a couple of days. So anyway, I make the post and then 12:15 rolls around and I'm wondering why dad hasn't called me, so I finish up the post and then mom comes in and I ask if dad called her. She said he hadn't, so I tried his phone and no answer. I start packing for a bit, then try again 10 minutes later. I finally got a hold of him that time and asked if he had gotten a hold of grandpa. He said no, so I asked why he didn't tell me and how many times he tried. He had just tried once and figured I could do it. Well I could have if I had had some warning that it was going to end up like this. Anyway, I had to hurriedly pack and then go to my grandpa's to get his car because when I asked my mom if she could just take the truck and trade it for grandpa's car if she needed a 4-seater that bad, she guilt tripped me by going "oh well if I had to do that, I would just drive the truck instead." So anyway, a late start because of that, but it worked out. We got to Seabrook and played some Jenga after getting groceries in Ocean Shores.
Tuesday:
I got up and made breakfast while Orion programmed and Davis played some games. Around noon, we decided to spend the day at Seabrook and go to Ocean Shores the next day. We didn't do much besides play some games and hang around the house most of the day. We did get over to toss around the frisbee and Davis and I played bouyball, which was surprisingly awesome. After that, we had lefties vs. righties best 2/3 team shuffleboard in which the lefties won of course. For dinner, we had turkey dogs because of Orion, but this time they weren't as bad as I remembered them. Perhaps Davis is just good with a barbecue.
Wednesday:
Same morning routine, then we spent the early afternoon creating our quick mission DnD characters. I took a while for mine because I decided to be a Druid to try out being a spellcaster. Druid is such an awesome class, I can pretty much cast any kind of spell I could possibly think of (as long as it's prepared of course). After that, we went into Ocean Shores to play some billiards. Once again, lefties were undefeated. For dinner, we went to Alec's by the sea, where Orion kind of picked up a waitress, but was derailed when he remembered we T-Mobile peoples don't get reception in Seabrook so number giving was therefore not a viable option. Brokenhearted I'm sure, he came back to Seabrook with us. After that, we started our mini-adventure for DnD. It was pretty awesome. Steven tanked, Davis did massive damage and I supported with random spells and by transforming into random crap as well (tree shape ftw!). I wound up killing some innocent people accidentally and I tried to kill a guy by summoning 18 gallons of fresh water inside his stomach, but the book specificaly forbade me from doing that so I didn't, but Steven sure got some enjoyment out of my suggesting it. The highlight for me was definitely when I transformed into a T-Rex and ate the final boss. We also went out to the beach around 11:30pm during our break from DnD which we had been playing for 2 hours at the time. It was cool to see the stars without the city lights blocking them out. We also saw the milky way and I figured out how I was situated in the scope of the galaxy.
Thursday:
We had to clean up right after breakfast and we headed out around 11:00 because people were checking in and the maids had to swing by. On the way back, we stopped at that really good pizza place in McCleary and the guys got some pizza while I filled up the tank. The rest of the ride home was pretty quick because traffic was moving rather fast. When I got home, I hadn't really eaten much and I was kind of hungry and my parents and my sister all had separate things going on for dinner, but my neighbor brough over some leftover ribs from the neighborhood party I missed as well as our card table, so that was a good dinner (I did not eat the card table).
Friday:
I met grandpa at Costco and we ate there, then went back to his house, where I started sorting through things he wants to take with him because he moves on the 12th. It looks like I will not need help because a lot of family will be helping, but that shouldn't concern you guys as none of you have shown interest anyway. Grandpa had an eye appointment at 4:30, so I took that as my excuse to leave.
Saturday:
Not much happened until we picked up my grandpa and headed to my uncle's house for his birthday. It was pretty meh. The Seahawks were playing which was nice and I saw some family that I haven't seen in a while, but it was still nice to leave and get back by 9. We watched Duplicity after that, which was surprisingly boring.
Sunday:
I spent most of the day playing on the 360 and then the Xbox (replaying some old games) because nobody interesting was on Guild Wars.
Today:
Not much is happening today it looks like. Davis is busy painting, Steven's no doubt busy with Ashley's birthday and Orion doesn't have a gaming quality computer with him, so I'm playing me some Xbox today. Hopefully we can get our last DnD session until probably next summer going here on Wednesday. Thursday I have the Seahawks game, then Friday is PAX!!111 Ok well I'm going to go now, peace out.

I'm back, but I'm leaving in an hour again
Ok well I'm back from Hawaii. I actually got back at 4am on Saturday and then I've been busy[ish] since then. I'll make the post somewhat quick because 90-100% of my readers will not be reading this post until we get back from Seabrook. I posted some pictures below, but due to a combination of there were a lot of generally uninteresting pictures and my internet crapping out randomly, I decided to only post the few I posted. I'm going to make a facebook album of the whole summer (might actually take 2) in which I will post more of the scenery pictures. Ok now without further ado, I shall work into Hawaii, then post about it, then catch you up to right now.
Friday:
We played some DnD and I believe it was at my house this time. It was really fun even though Orion almost killed me twice, once when he roundhouse kicked me in the face, leading to a guy falling on me and crushing me (not to mention the damage sustained from being KICKED IN THE FACE). After that, he told me to duck and I did, AND HE STILL SHOT ME IN THE ASS. In his defense though, it was a really solid hit, 8 damage. That knocked me out unfortunately and Steven was able to drag me to safety which was quite fortunate for me. After that, the three of us leveled up and such while Sai did his adventure to meet back up with us.
Saturday:
Our flight was at 1pm, so we had plenty of time to get to the airport. It was pretty crowded, but we got there okay. The flight over was pretty boring. I just watched Spaceballs (which it had been too long since I had seen it (almost one whole year O_O) and I played some Fire Emblem as well. We had dinner at our favorite spot, then went to bed.
Sunday:
Mom and dad didn't get that just because they weren't on Hawaii time didn't mean that Kathryn and I also weren't. They were up and ready to go at 6am and Kathryn and I, being teenagers, were quite frustrated at being woken up that early. We didn't do much that day outside of relaxing around the ocean and Lahaina. After walking around Lahaina, I had to rest my ankle which was having one of its days where it decided to hurt a lot. While I did that, the rest of the family went to the pool and I met them at the beach later. There was a pretty girl there that kept exchanging awkward glances with me.
Monday:
We went up to Haleakala. It was surprisingly an all day adventure. It was really cool though. We drove through a cloud and even walked around in one. At the top, dad and I took a 15 minute hike down the crater and saw there was a path where you could walk down through the crater to the ocean on the road to Hana somewhere. It would be a day long hike probably and dad and I decided we want to do that hike next time we are there because the scenery was amazing there and it would be cool to walk around in a dormant volcano (though less cool than walking around in volcano cake). Not much happened after we got back because it was late in the day. For some reason though, the rest of the family went to sleep at 9pm, which resulted in...
Tuesday:
...being woken up at 6am again!!!11 AUGGHH. It kept going like that every day. After I got mad at them though, they actually waited until 7, which while it is still bad, is far better than being woken up before 7. On Tuesday, we hung around the hotel most of the day and went in the pool, encountering and exchanging awkward glances with awkward glance girl yet again (shoulda gone and talked to her, but she was hanging out with her family as well). We also made it up north of the hotel a bit to visit this pool that is like a big-ass tide pool that you can swim in. It was a hike to get to, but a pretty cool thing to see. I made a bitchin rock sculpture while I was there.
Wednesday:
We did the road to Hana and decided to hit up places we don't usually. The first stop was the red sand beach that some of you may remember was the nudist beach I mentioned last time I went. This time, mom and Kathryn came along. No nudists were there, but there was a hippie couple playing their guitar and ukelele. The second stop was Hamoa beach, this really fine sanded beach that is perfect for bodysurfing. It was so good in fact that I just did that for an hour until my family was like "Okay enough is enough, we have other shit to do." I wish I had stayed longer though because when we got to our next stop, I forgot to take off my sandles on the rocks. I have much better traction with my bare feet because they like to grip onto things I'm standing on. I was wearing my sandles and I didn't realize it and when my feet tried to grip onto the rock I was standing on, instead my sandles slipped and my right foot (WHY IS IT ALWAYS MY DRIVING FOOT??!!) fell into a kind of hole in the rock, hurting my ankle and breaking and damaging my toe. I got dirt all up under the nail, the end was purple after a while and I didn't realize it until the toe pain had subsided, but my ankle really hurt like crazy after that. It was at the place where people like to dive off rocks into the pool too, so I was sad to miss out on that as I usually partake when I'm there. After dad did a jump, we headed back to the hotel so I could apply my own brand of first aid.
Thursday:
We spend most of the day hanging around Lahaina or the pool. It was a very low-key day. When we were in Lahaina, I saw a kid that had the same face as me when I was 17 (pre-facial hair). The only difference was that he had no glasses, but other than that, his face was the exact same of mine. It was scary and I told dad to keep going.
Friday:
Also a low-key day and it was because I wanted to stay off my foot as much as I could because it was hurting me. Our flight was a red eye flight and I was sitting next to two hot girls, but after a while, they fell asleep and it was pretty clear they were probably still in the later years of high school, so maybe it was for the best that nothing came about.
Saturday:
We got in at 4am and I got to bed at 6am. I slept until noon when Skyway's incessant meowing woke everyone in the house up. After that, I hung around the house until I met up with Sai and Steven at Sai's house for the Seahawks game. We picked up Sai's mom's dad after a misadventure in Ballard, then headed straight to the game. It was quite a good game and I think this year I'll forgive Seneca Wallace for whatever he did wrong in the past. There was a girl at the end of our row that looked like she had been dragged there by her dad, but we soon discovered she was actually a crazed Seahawks fan that yelled much much louder than anyone in our section. After the game finished, we were stuck in the garage for about half an hour waiting for the cars to clear out on all the levels below us. During that time we learned about Tibetan monks and Sai's hatred for the sleeping elderly ("David, how could you let that stupid sleeping lady in front of us?!!!?!"). Also, I forgot to mention that during the game, I saw on the big screen a hot lady being filmed and she was sexily swinging her hips around and I was thinking "wow can they really show that?" As the camera zoomed out, I could see that the guy next to her was repeatedly spanking her. It was extremely funny to see especially because she looked up in horror at the screen as if she did not know that she had been filmed just as the camera started to pull away.
Sunday:
Not much happened until the night when the four of us met up for some Settlers of Catan. It was fun repeatedly screwing over Steven.
Ok well I need to leave for Seabrook in about 45 minutes here and I have to go switch truck for car with my grandpa, so I guess I'll see y'all soon. Peace out.

Another couple of weeks went by
Well summer sure is flying by. Now all my friends that are going to out of state colleges are leaving and I didn't get to see them and I won't because I leave tomorrow. Well oops, that's probably my fault that I didn't see people. I was just busy the whole time. If you remember my cool flowchart in the last major post, that has been my schedule up until Tuesday when my class ended. I'll just go down the list of things I've been up to I suppose.
School:
This one is quick. As the quarter winded down, so too did the homework. I started having more tests than other types of work and then the final, which was surprisingly long for how few questions there were (1:59:29/2 hours for 8 questions). I was close to getting point deductions as you can see, but I didn't and I didn't do great on the test, but I did well enough to be very satisfied with my final grade and to raise my cumulative gpa.
Frisbee:
Well we finally won a game, it was a miracle. We even got to the championships of our pool and we unfortunately lost that, but hey, considering our 0-7 season, coming in 2nd place in our pod isn't such a bad thing after all. I agreed with Steven though that the second half of the season was not as fun because nobody was really dedicated anymore (except the 5 of us (Stashley, Orion, Eric and myself)) and we didn't practice a lot. I liked the times when we practiced on the off days and even though it was just throwing around, it was still fun. Also, truth be told, I my favorite games were the ones where we had 1 sub and the one where we played a man down. I talked to Steven about the possible job opportunity to be SWUF coaches next year and he seemed down, so I need to talk to Eric about that. We would be volunteers from what it sounds like, but I'm sure that we can negotiate a reasonable price for the district (like maybe one coach's salary that we can then just split up for the 3 of us). If we wind up doing that, I think it would be really fun.
DnD:
I introduced my new character to the group (and found out I have a really boring reading voice from Steven) and I really liked him. This time, I think I'll be better at playing my allignment though maybe not to the extent Sai does, but definitely better than my last character. I seem to always post on the day that I'm going to be playing DnD later, so not much else is there to be said about it. We haven't played in too long and because I leave tomorrow, it will be another while before we play again. I'm starting to think I'll be legally drinking a beer as we finally finish the campaign we're on. It's still fun though.
Console Gaming:
I beat Turning Point. It wasn't that great. The story was cool, don't get me wrong, but the controls were really strange for an FPS. I'm onto the Godfather 2 now and I definitely don't like it as much as the Godfather 1, but it has been growing on me and I don't hate it as much as I did when I first started out on it.
Guild Wars:
Davis has been getting into Guild Wars and I know I said I gave it up, but I just realized it is fun. Of course, I don't play it like I did before. Now I only play it if I have something else I can do at the same time, such as Fire Emblem or watching TV on Hulu for my next "What's On?" segment (which by the way is getting close to being done finally). It will be fun if Steven and Orion get back into it because then we can finally try Steven's awesome 4-player team build.
Starcraft:
It's going well. Keir and I play ICCup for a few hours usually daily, but not for the past few days because I've been busy. It has its ups and downs. In a span of a couple games, we can go from yelling at each other to celebrating how pwnage we are. Keir is a C- at 2v2s, but our record together (which is the same as my record) is only a D. We're both competing to try to collect a win from someone in every country. It's just like Pokemon for Starcraft, but you train yourself instead of the things you capture.
Grandpa's house:
It's going quite well. I finally cleaned out his shed to the max, a feat that has never been attempted even. I'm now into the backyard cleaning that up and soon enough he will be moving into Aljoya. In the meantime, he and I have been going over there occasionally to drop off papers or see his new apartment to plan what we want where. I don't mind going there because the lady we always see is really cute, so it's nice to get to go over there whenever we do.
Random happenings:
We had our LoTR marathon. It took the full day, but it was awesome. It was surprising how long they made the movies. It was a little crazy at times and a little boring here and there, but fun overall. After that, we watched the Kirby movie which was so terrible that it was great.
I went to the Mariners game on Ken Griffey Jr. bobblehead night, but due to traffic, I did not get one. I did get to see 4 Navy Seal drop infantry or whatever they are parachute into Safeco. The first guy hit the mark dead on, the second guy almost went into the stands, the third guy took out the marker flag and the fourth guy LET THE AMERICAN FLAG TOUCH THE GROUND. The game was also a really good one that was right down to the wire and a surprise home run won the game.
The other night, I saw a pickup do a powerslide (yes a pickup powerslide, I had no idea it was possible) onto the on ramp to northbount I-5 at 175th. Props to the guy for not rolling over or dying.
Orion and I took an adventure to Vancouver to go to a promotion for Bioshock 2. We left at 1:30 in the morning and drove straight to the beach where it was. After some random walking around, the lady finally showed up late and started placing the bottles. We decided to just take one each, though I said to take one for Davis, Orion said we shouldn't. It turned out we should have because we could have sold it on Ebay for 50 bucks. Oh well. The story of it is pretty well documented in pictures in that there's really not much to tell. It was a cool adventure to go up to Canada just for a couple hours and a good time driving even though I was tired.
Right after Canada, I went to Richland with my grandpa and aunt for a 50th wedding anniversary of some obscure family friend. It was cool because we stayed with my second cousin in Pasco. It was also an uneventful trip, but there was a lot of good driving for me.
After I got back from that, I came home and when I was looking out the window, I noticed a tourgroup of about 30 Japanese kids walking down the street. One pointed excitedly at my neighborhood's mailbox (they aren't very exciting looking, I'll post a picture later) and they all had to take turns throwing up their peace sign in front of the mailboxes for pictures. I was dumbfounded by how strange it was.
Another thing I saw recently that made my day was a guy driving a BMW with the windows rolled down and he was blasting a song that I assume was made by Taylor Swift (I'm not hip to the scene, but it sounded like what I assume is her voice). Not only that, but he was snapping along to the song and bobbing his head in a sassy way. Not only THAT, but he was also wearing a pink shirt with the collar popped and he had a spray on tan that was really obvious. Seeing that made my day and I almost fell over laughing when he drove off.
Ok so that's all that's been going on. I'm now going to be gone from the 15th to the 22nd, so I'll see y'all later I guess. I'll be on gchat though occasionally I assume, so you can look for me there. Peace out.

Peace out.
