The fastest way through the wall was to kick it down.
Kicking things is fun.
There was a lot of sweeping to do afterwards.
No more wall.
Edward actually stayed on the couch until we started kicking out the wall, when he ran behind the couch and jumped from the ledge below the rail to down by the door to get away from us.
