Well don't sweat it because I'd hardly have time to read your posts if you had updated. I do expect new posts by July 6th because frankly, that would be a long time for y'all to go without posting. Anyway, sorry about not posting before I left, my family came over early in the day than I thought they would so I did not get the time to post that I thought I would. For that reason, I'll compress the week leading up to the trip into one section because it can easily be done and the Alaska post might go on the long side, which isn't bad when you think about how long it will be before another long post comes, so you will have time to read it. Anyway, on to thee week.
Before the trip:
As I continued playing the force unleashed, I learned it only has 9 levels which angered me because I liked the game and that was really douchey to have it be so disgustingly short (6 45-minute levels and 3 20-minute ones). I'm already on the last level and I'll soon be moving on to my next game. Throughout the week, I worked on grandpa's shed during the day, then went to frisbee practice, then played DnD. In grandpa's shed, I found some cool stuff. I got some books of dialogues with Plato and people of that nature and I got a huge legal book and some other cool things that I'll have to post pictures of someday. DnD had been going well. I like this version much better than fourth mainly because my character is a huge beast (Davis had to nerf me because I'm overpowered). As for frisbee, it's been going....okay. We have good practices (with the people that actually bother to show), but the game didn't go so well. Christie actually surprised me with some good play for someone who had never played before. We didn't do as terribly as the last time, but we still lost and I think we're moving down to D league which was much needed. On Friday, my family came over and we hung out until it was time to go to my sister's dance recital.
Aunt's house:
This happened while I was on the trip, but the house pretty much sold. It was on the market for a week before we got an offer for 97% of the price we were asking for (which was really good because we apparently overlooked some moisture/water damage in places). Anyway, I got a comment on how lovely the grounds looked, so I was really happy to know my hard work paid off. Now we have to do the paperwork and transfer my grandpa's hosue to my aunt, which will be a bit trickier because we filed for a lifetime estate or something along those lines a long time ago, but the attorney (a friend of dad's from college who also did mom and dad's wills (and who now drives buses because he was disbarred)) never filed that all those years ago, so the house is under my grandma's name and she controls the property, which is a major uh oh, so we have to go to court and get this all settled out. Anyway yeat, on to the rest of the week.
Saturday:
We had to get up at a normal hour and we made our flight with plenty of time. Our traveling party was myself, my mom, my grandma, my uncle, my cousin and her 16 month old kid (who has the same hair that I did as a little kid and also might be left handed!!!) My uncle (groom's father) and aunt went up a day early because he was the comissioner for the wedding and he had to sort that out. At the airport, we met up with my cousin's sister and her 2 year old kid. The plane ride was uneventful because I spent the first half writing my character's bio for DnD and then I fell asleep to Fire Emblem. The airport we were at was right next to the hotel (3 minute drive actually, it was a Texas block). The rehearsal dinner was over in the next town, about 15 miles out of town. It was this strange brewery that was actually pretty cool. My little 2nd cousin enjoyed combing my hair with a fork when he got the chance. On our way back, the four of us (which hereby refers to my uncle (not the groom's father), my grandma, my mom, and I) went to stop at the pipeline viewing area. It was a strange thing to see because it looked fake. There was rust, cracks, and CIGARETTE BUTT CANS (smoking next to an oil pipeline? wth?) next to the pipeline. There was also a funny warning sign that I got a picture of. After that, we settled down at the hotel for the night.
Now the funny thing about nights in Alaska was that the night only lasted 2 hours the whole time we were there, so since it was right in the middle of when I was asleep, I didn't see darkness until I got back to Seattle. I missed the darkness, actually.
Sunday:
The wedding was that day. First things first though we had to get breakfast. We went to the northern most Denny's in the world and had good food there. I was very tired, so I drank copious amounts of coffee in honor of Godot. After that, we had to go change in our rental car because only one of the windshield wipers was working. After we got that settled, we went to North Pole, a city about 15 miles away from Fairbanks. It was a really chintzy little town and we didn't stay too long. After that, the wedding, awwwwww. It was in the botannical gardens of University of Alaska. It was raining right up until the bride arrived, then it started to stop and then we actually got some sun, so that was nice. It was a nice ceremony and very quick because the commish decided to not deviate from his script. After that, there was a reception dinner. The food was pretty good. After that, we had the midnight baseball game. On our way there, the four of us stopped at this Pioneer Park (like a mini-theme park) near the baseball park because we wanted to try out this -40 degrees farenheight room that they have. It's a cool room because you get to experience an Alaskan winter. Actually the -40 was a ballpark, it was closer to -50 when we were there, but I stepped up to the challenge anyway and wore just shorts and my sweatshirt, but then I stepped up to the cooler challenge that I saw on the way in and I took off my shirt and lasted about a minute and a half without it on before I absolutely had to leave. The three wearing parkas even had to leave before me. My uncle said he took video and he'll post it to youtube so I'll link when he does. Also, I have pictures.
The midnight baseball game was a heapin' helpin' o' local color. We named all the characters around us. There was Tipsy McDrunkerton, the guy that got 6 beers at once, came back about 5 mintues later for a diet coke break, then much later, stumbled down the stands, leaned on the rail and yelled "YOU SUCK" at the batter for no good reason before getting beers 7 and 8. Alcohol was sold up until the last moment of the game, they might have even given out ones for the road, I realy don't know. Another part of the show was the beach ball. The people in all the stands had beachballs flying around and at one point, Angry Red Hatticus got mad and grabbed it when it flew by him and put it forcefully on the ground at his feet. He got booed until Tipsy came and jacked the beachball back from him and sent it back around the stands. There was also tweed, who jumped over the rail after a baseball like a ringtailed lemur. Under the stands, where people threw their sometimes unfinished beer and other garbage dwelled the lords of the flies, a bunch of kids that were doing God knows what. Their leader, who could be seen wearing the most visors also wore a koala puppet on his fist and a camo hunting mask. He was followed by his personal guards, one of them was lazercats, who wore a cat puppet on his fist (you'd better believe I have pictures). They had some strange society going, doing "recycling" as we called it by stomping cans. They even tried to invade the bleachers at one point. I was about pissing my pants from laughing so hard at them. A couple other funny notes: the freebie they gave us was a visor from the 100th anniversary game that was in 2006 (so how were we on the 104th 3 years later?). Overall, the game was mediocre because it was the n0-leagues, but the people made the game great.
Monday:
The four of us got up early to take a small plane (a piper) to this town above the arctic circle named Coldfoot (can be seen in Ice Road Truckers). We drove along the Dalton highway (also in the show) up to a town called Wiseman, where the residents are self sustaining mostly. They go to the store maybe once every other month because the store is in Fairbanks, a 7 hour drive away. They hunt their own food, do pretty much everything on their own. They do have a TV and internet via satellite though, so they aren't too out of touch. I think it would be fun to live there for a couple months, although I couldn't do any hunting because I would need to live there for at least a year to become a resident. The guy we talked to was really cool and instead of doing a walking tour, we all accidentally were talking for too long, so we got a driving tour of the town. After that, we took the plane back and got back to Fairbanks at noon. After a nice lunch, all of us (except for my cousin and his wife) went to Chena hot springs, where we went to see this ice museum. The ice was only kept at 20 degrees farenheight, so of course I only wore a t-shirt and shorts. I think the cute tourguide was impressed, but my uncle (groom's dad) and I were just being our usual badass selves. After that, we drove back into Fairbanks and saw some moose along the way.
Tuesday:
We left Fairbanks around 9am to drive down to Denali. Denali is a very pretty place. It's like being in the Cascades, but 2 million acres of that. In the place we stayed at, there was hand sanitizer everywhere, much to my liking. The four of us went into the park a bit to do some hiking and see some sled dogs that were really cute and extremely athletic. After that, we had dinner at this lookout place up a huge hill from our hotel that looked out across that valley. My 16 month old cousin enjoyed waving at all the waiters, expecially the guy with the goatee.
Wednesday:
We drove back to Fairbanks and got to the airport 4 hours early. We were all ready to leave Alaska. Mom and I were able to move to row 6, where we got the side of the row to ourselves, which was VERY nice. Row 6 is the front row with nobody leaning back in front of you and more legroom. The flight back was uneventful. There were some nice views and we finally got to see darkness again. The family wound up not staying actually (except grandma (who just left an hour ago)).
Today:
Today I am busy. I have to catch up on classwork, get a bit ahead, do a quick dump run, drop Kathryn off at a party, buy my textbooks for summer quarter (I got into Geology and Accounting 202), go to frisbee, do some DnD, then pack before I leave early tomorrow morning. Ok well I'll post pictures on the 28th and 29th. I don't know if I'll have internet because I don't think my great aunt and uncle do, but my phone might be able to get it, so at the very least, I can communicate through texting. I get back sometime in the afternoon/night on the 27th, depending on whether I have to drive to Forks or not.

Summer shall commence!
Hmm, so as I thought more about my last title, I figured the acronym will not catch on due to the Arena Football League (I've been screwed over by that league for the last time!). Anyway, last week was pretty fun mostly because the cool amount of stuff I did (mostly Starcraft). Anyway, before I get started, I need to lay out my situation for the summer because I don't know if anyone reads my posts since nobody comments and I figure the best chance of having you read it is by putting it at the beginning of the post, so here you go.
I am available this week until Friday when family comes over. On Saturday (6/20), I leave for Alaska for my cousin's wedding. I get back sometime on the following Wednesday (6/24). I am home during the day on the 25th until I leave that night for Selah, WA to help my great aunt and uncle move. I will return sometime late at night on my birthday, Saturday the 27th. I'm home and free on the 28th and 29th. On the 30th, I leave for Vegas for my cousin's wedding reception and I return sometime during the day I think on July 6. After that, I have nothing until August 15th, so pwnage can commence then. This week, I am free on Monday through Thursday, but on either Tuesday or Wednesday (only one of the two), I will be over at my grandpa's starting to clean his house before we have a yard sale sometime in the distant future. Ok, now for the week.
Monday:
As I said, the Jazz Band concert was cool. Dan didn't have a cowbell or a snare drum, so he borrowed an unused music stand and took a solo on that at one point that was really cool. Afterwards, the 3 guy trumpet players, our girl bassist and our girl drummer met up at Super China Buffet for lunch. It was pretty good, at the very least it was worth the money I paid (which was not too much). That night, it was nice not to go to band. I celebrated by playing a lot of Starcraft with Steven and Keir since it was a dead day the next day.
Tuesday:
I did a little bit of homework during the day, but the rest of it was spent doing Starcraft with Steven and Keir. It was the last Starcraft I would get in for a couple days though because I needed to study.
Wednesday:
We had our Jazz Band "final" that consisted of eating donuts, listening to jazz and talking to Jim about what trumpets I should look into. It was probably the most fun final I will ever take. After that ended, I came home and studied up on law for about 9 hours. I wish people hadn't cheated on the test because since they did that, our final was taken offline, so we had to do it in person, which meant no notes (that he permitted online, but not in person for some strange reason). Anyway, my strategy at the beginning of the quarter was just take really good notes and don't worry about how much sinks in because as long as I have the notes, I will do well on the tests. Well since people cheated, I now had to use my notes (that were fortunately very good) to let a quarter's worth of material sink in. It was some not fun studying.
Thursday:
I had the law final. I feel like it went well because of my uber study session. I finished in a decent amount of time. After that, I went to register with my law teacher (who is my advisor) for summer and fall classes. I waited very long to register for summer, so all the classes are in the waitlists (I'm still hoping to get into two if my advisor ever emails me back so I can meet with him to sign up for classes ( I need his permission since it's not 15 credits)). Anyway, I was going to do Stats, Geology, and Accounting 202 all online, but Stats is way full. I might get into Geology and it looks like I will get Accounting, so that will be good to get 10 credits going. I did get signed up for the fall. I have psychology which I will hopefully be in Steven's class for, French (trying to take 3 quarters of it next year mostly just for fun (and to try to overachieve), microeconomics, and the two bands. Since my final was a midday final the next day, I studied, then got in some Starcraft. We had our first ultimate game after that and let's just say we did terrible.
Friday:
I had my math final. It went pretty well I felt. When it was over though, I was sad to leave because I had the same math teacher this whole year and she was really cool, so it's too bad that I won't have her again. On the other hand though, I was ready for it to be summer already. I played some Starcraft with Steven and Keir, but then they stopped, so I took advantage of the Guild Wars weekend.
Saturday:
I finally finished moving my aunt out of her house. It took a dump run and a lot of moving, but she is out of the house completely now. I found some old albums she had including Are You Experienced, Breakfast in America, Bookends, and some other big names, so I will hopefully get to listen to those when we figure out where I put her record player. That night, there was yet another frisbee practice (I just haven't been mentioning them all), but as per usual, only Stashley, Orion, and I showed up.
Sunday:
That morning, I beat Ocarina of Time. I really liked the game, but the ending was kind of a downer. After that, I had a grad party to go to since we weren't playing DnD that day. After it, I went to go see Angels and Demons. I hear all the people that read the book QQing about how the movie ruins the books, so I'm glad I haven't read the books because I was able to enjoy the movie. Oh and I've decided, we are all going to see G.I. Joe when it comes out. It looks so awesome. After that, I had more frisbee practice, but only Steven, Orion, and Eric were there, so we played on the Shoreline Stadium. With all these practices, at least the four of us that show up will be good. It was good thinking on Orion's part.
Today:
Since I'm giving Davis' Gamecube back for the summer, I moved back to my 360 to pick up and do the games I have not yet played on it. I started the Force Unleashed. All I can say is the game looks really fun, but I'm glad it's not canon because it looks like the storyline and the things that happen will be completely weird. There's an imperial officer who never buttons up her shirt, you can use the force to uproot trees and crap (but oddly, you can't chop them down with your lightsaber, hmmm). Anyway, yeah the game looks fun and I will be able to enjoy it despite the fact that it doesn't do anything in the Star Wars expanded universe. I look forward to the sequel though that supposedly will be canon. Hopefully I get registered for my classes before I leave. Other than that, I'm cleaning the computer room todayf or company that comes later in the week, so I'll get back to that before frisbee then DnD. I'll post on Friday before I leave. Peace out.

AFL
AFL is a new term I am coining that I hope will be picked up by the popular youth. It is like AFK, but instead of keyboard, the L is for life. Anyway, I find that it was rather a rather accurate explanation of last week for me, so I don't need to post right?
WRONG! I always need to post.
Monday:
I had band that day, so I played Guild Wars, made this post, and did homework. Not much else. In band, we organized all our songs and quickly ran through the graduation ones and got out early, which was nice.
Tuesday:
After a rather uneventful day at school, I went over to my aunt's house to move everything she had over to my grandpa's house. The stager was set to come on Wednesday, so I had to get as much out as I could. I wound up getting most of it out, but it took about 5 hours, so I didn't get home until about 7:00. After that, I had dinner and finished all the homework I would have for the whole week since I had a (very accurate as it turned out) feeling I wasn't going to have time for it later in the week.
Wednesday:
After yet another uneventful school day (what do you expect? it's the end of the quarter), I went over to my aunt's house to move the rest of her stuff out. I had to work around the stager, who was, IMCO, leaving the house too bare, but whatever. It's a unique house, not just another cookie-cutter one, so it will probably do well on the market. I bet we might even get more than the listing price, which would be super awesome. Anyway, after finally getting everything into my grandpa's house, I had to organize it all very carefully. I had to make sure that 2 people could live out of their separate houses in the space of one house and I think I did a really good job of that. It took much longer that day and I didn't get home until 10.
Thursday:
I spent most of the day moving stuff and working outside. My second cousin and I waited for the Door to Door people to move the pod to my grandpa's which they said they would, but didn't happen, so we decided we would have to dump gravel around it the next day unless they came early in the day. I left at about 6:00 because I had to make it to frisbee practice. It was a pretty lame practice in the sense that only 6 of us showed up and 4 of us were kind of "required" showups in that Orion would expect us to be at all the practices since he knows we have no lives outside of this (I'm referring to Eric, Steven, Orion, and myself). Jared and Sara were there too though. It was nice to break Sara in and to learn that she is a rare breed, a girl that can catch pretty well. She had some good catches in the 3 on 3 scrimmage, which we definitely threw (right guYS???). Afterwards, I came home and studied for my math final until I went to bed and realized I had gone to bed an hour earlier than I needed to since my law class didn't meet the next day.
Friday:
I only had my math class that day and it was a test, so it was no big deal. Afterwards, I went to my aunt's house to move some stuff for shelves for clearing out my grandpa's shed over to my grandpa's house. When I got back, the first gravel load had been delivered, so my second cousin and I graveled up the neighbor's driveway where the gravel was dumped. After that, 2 more loads came and we did as much as humanly possible, but by 6:00, we had been gravelling for over 4 hours and our arms were sore. Grandpa even came to help and he got tired too, so we decided to pick it up again the next day since the neighbors didn't need to use their driveway that night anyway.
Saturday:
My family and I met my grandpa at the mall before going over to the new senior living community (henceforth referred to as Aljoya) over by the new theater by the mall for the special ribbon cutting ceremony. It was hellzzzaaa boring and Greg Nickels was there, so it was even more boring, but grandpa got to shake his hand and he was pretty happy about that. After that, we went to return some games my grandma got me a long time ago to Toys R Us because I was never going to play them. After returning the games, I got GoW2 for $15 bucks, which I figured was about what it was worth to me. There was this girl working there that was a total 919 (she even had the glasses!!!) and I totally should have asked her out because how often do I really go to Toys R Us anyway? Only once in a Davisvisit (a Davisvisit is the amount of time that passes between free pokemon giveaways). Anyway, I don't know how Toys R Us employment works, if she chose to work in the gaming section or not, but if she did and she was a gamer, that would totally make her like a 10210 (such extreme hotness, it would destroy the very foundation of the area code rating system). Now I want to find an excuse to buy a game from Toys R Us again.
After that, we went back to my aunt's house and the whole family (including my second cousin and my aunt and uncle and cousin) helped spread the rest of the gravel. We also got to use the truck as a wheelbarrow, which was pretty fun. When we got home, I tried some Guild Wars, but got really bored/mad at it and spent about an hour looking at french horn equipment and mouthpieces.
Sunday:
I had to play at graduation which was rediculously boring as usual, but I was surprised at how low the average GPAs seemed to be. Only about 10% of the graduates had a 3.6 or higher. It made me want to try for that. Also, I want to join Phi Beta Kappa so I can get my gold ribbons. Anyway, the student speaker was this girl who had a 3.95 GPA and I was expecting something really stupid about how she's perfect, but partway into her speech, she brought up how she got pregnant halfway through high school, dropped out, and had to adopt her kid off. She was good at keeping me interested in what she was saying.
Today:
I skipped my math class because we had a Jazz Band concert outside at the fountain. I didn't see any of you (for shame!), but I did see Amanuel, who just walked by, so he didn't really stay either. It was pretty fun, but I wish we had gone on longer. I guess the rest of the trumpet players had sore chops. It made me want to be able to take on higher parts next year so I can start to give them some breaks and maybe then we can play longer sets.
Important information:
So you know how I get back from Alaska on the 24th and leave for Vegas on the 26th? Well my favorite great aunt and uncle (who are not doing too well) are getting moved into a nursing home by their daughter. They'll be moving to Sequim from Selah, so I'm going to go down there probably by myself on the 25th-27th(my birthday) to help them move. On the birthday thing, it's no big deal. I was thinking it would be an excuse to see people again, but I'll have other birthdays and we have a full summer of days to get a big partay going. So yeah that's the skinny. Between June 20th and July 6, I will be home on the 28th and 29th. DnD on one of those days?

Them honkeys
My title has nothing to do with anything in case you were wondering. This past week was rather good, but the non-homework quarter I had been having so far finally caught up with me and I was actually given homework and it kind of shot my Sunday all to hell, but oh well. I did get about 10 free Sundays before this, so it was worth it, I would say. This week, it looks like I will be doing more work at my aunt's house especially later in the week and I believe this weekend I'll be over in the Tri-Cities for a special mass for the year anniversary of my grandpa's death. Other than that, if you want to help on the work at my aunt's house, first of all, I don't know if we are going to have anyone help because I don't know how much help my second cousin and I will need and second of all, the work would be spreading bark one day and gravel the next (in different areas). Other than that, not much to say so let's get on to the week.
Monday:
I didn't do much because I had no band that night, so after I made the post, I just played some Guild Wars.
Tuesday:
I showed up to Law and we learned that a couple people had cheated by copying off their friends. The evidence was clear, 4:15 out of an hour time limit and they still got 22/25. I did poorly on the test, so I was happy to do the retake and I actually am glad someone cheated. During my lesson, my teacher brought some new mouthpieces along for me to try and they weren't really good. I like the one I've been borrowing during class though from our section leader.
Wednesday:
I had an appointment to get the truck's oil changed, but that soon turned out to be much more. I took the truck over there and then walked to my aunt's house to help her fill up her yard waste while there were guys cleaning the windows. I later got called from the mechanic and he said that the brakes were totally shot (I trust him because the truck has gone to that shop for all of it's 16 years it's been in the family). I later got to see just how shot the brakes were (completely), but anyway, I had to leave it overnight, so I borrowed my grandpa's car since he wasn't using it. When I went to grandpa's house, I helped him set up this old Dr. Pepper clock that he had. When I plugged it in, the second hand started going backwards and so did the hands soon enough. Grandpa said, "Try plugging it in upside down." I chuckled and did it, and then was surprised to see that IT ACTUALLY WORKED WTF??? I've never seen something do that before and I had a good laugh about it after that.
Thursday:
I can't remember this day at all. All I know is I had to take mom to pick up the car which had had it's oil changed at the dealership during the day sometime, so let's assume I spent the rest of the day playing Guild Wars.
Friday:
I went from school to get grandpa at Costco where we had lunch before going back to his house. After I dropped him off, I picked up Orion and we went to my aunt's house to load a bunch of drywall and wood and junk into the back of the truck. We got .42 tons in on that run, so that was pretty cool. After that, we loaded it up again mostly with recycle stuff, then Orion had to go home to dinner, so I dropped him off on my way home.
Saturday:
I had to get up for my last service learning event. Luckily, I had enough time logged in that I got to leave half an hour early! After being stuck in traffic, I managed to hit up the UWB frisbee game just in time to watch them lose the first game. I got to play in the second game. It was fun to play ultimate again and I even had a catch for a point at one point during the game, so that was cool. Unfortunately, we lost that one, so that was the last game of the day, which was ok because it was really hot outside. After that, I played some Guild Wars with Steven and then I went to bed because I was pretty tired.
Sunday:
I started doing my law essay for the service learning since I had just finished the learning the day before. I wish my service learning had ended earlier so I could have started the essay earlier because it took me 6 hours to write, primarily because I had to find specific cases relating to specific legal issues, which took a surprisingly long time. I thought I was just going to have to cite RCW's here and there, but I was quite wrong. That night, the jazz band had a performance at Tula's downtown near the pike place market. It was a nice venue in that I could actually hear every instrument. My only problem with it was that it was hot and I could barely see my music, but both of those were minor problems. If I couldn't read the part, I just sung into my trumpet. I got to stick around after that to see the band that my private lesson teacher plays in. They were very good from what I saw, but I had to cut out early to finish up some of that essay and a bonus math problem that took me longer than it should have.
Today:
Not much happened today. It was classes as usual. Our jazz band decided we're going to have a performance next monday around lunchtime in the courtyard, so if you want to come see it, go ahead (Jim wanted us to advertise). It would be around 11:30ish to sometime after that. I don't know what the timestamp on this post will be because I forgot I was making it and I must have gotten sidetracked by Guild Wars. Ah well, I have band tonight, so I should start thinking about what to have for dinner. Peace out.

Nothing like a 3-day weekend to make me never want to go to school again.
This weekend has been nice. I have enjoyed it so far, but unfortunately, I now realize that I have to go back to school for what seems like a pointless 2.5 more weeks. It was nice to finally have a longer than 2 day weekend that I could take mostly to myself, but then school had to rear its ugly head. On the plus side, only 2.5 weeks left of school, then I'm good to go for summer (until Alaska for the wedding at the end of June). I'll be posting a list of times I'm gone during the summer and things we should do at the end of the post. Also, no guarantees, but keep your eyes open for a tentative post coming on Wednesday.
Monday:
We had our dress rehearsal for the concert in band and the guest tuba soloist from the marine band was there. He was so good, I didn't want to play, I just wanted to listen to him. He had amazing range and he could play very complicated rhythms and all on a tuba.
Tuesday:
My witness was only asked one more question, but I still had to get sworn in and all that, so it wasted some time. After me, we kept going with our witnesses. One of them had made up a funny backstory about how his dad tied him to a post in the middle of nowhere when he was caught stealing as a kid. Also, when our side referenced the cashier, who happened to be the ex girlfriend of the witness character, our witness said "First of all, she's a bitch." Everyone broke out laughing. After school, I had the concert. We sounded pretty good. Our horn section was mission 3 people, one because of a traffic ticket preventing her from playing somehow and the other 2 for some unknown reason, so that was kind of interesting.
Wednesday:
I had no school because I had to volunteer at the food bank for my IAS class. It was actually very fun and an enriching experience and I had a great time doing it and perhaps I will come back during the summer. The guy running it was a total hardass, but one would have to be to run that kind of place. He turned out to be really cool even if it took him the first hour to stop calling me Eric. I had fun writing up the report that afternoon too. It was an informal thing, so I basically made my teacher a nice blog post. It was twice the minimum length, so that was nice too. After that, I went over to my aunt's house really quick to fill her yard waste.
Thursday:
Not much happened all day. Our trial ended and our side won on almost all the charges. After school, I just played a lot of Guild Wars.
Friday:
I spent most of the day playing Guild Wars until Sai came online and wanted to play Starcraft. We did that and we had a rather good game against a turtler involving lots of marines and tanks against my containment of a little of everything and then Sai using reavers and arbiters to completely decimate the guy's forces.
Saturday:
I had my first Saturday off in a long time. It was nice. I got to play some Guild Wars until I had to go clean my room some more. After that, I met up with Sai at his house and we finally got to go shooting. It was fun, even though I'm not a very good shot. I got to shoot a snub nose though which was cool since I have always wanted to try that. After that, my family went to see Star Trek. It was pretty good, I must say. The best part of the night though was this preview for this cool actiony movie and at the end of the preview, the theater was silent and then on the screen it flashed "G.I. Joe" and while it was still silent in the theater, my mom snorted and started laughing.
Sunday:
I had to get up early to help my aunt get stuff into the moving van to move stuff to my grandpa's house. I spent a few hours there, but then we had to go the Mariners game. It was a good game with a couple good home runs, especially the one from Griffey. After that, I came home and played Guild Wars into the night with Steven.
Today:
I finished cleaning my room today and it looks nice and clean now. The monitor is still safe, don't worry. I did some Guild Wars today as well and aside from that, not much. The truck was being borrowed by dad's friend today who had a lot of old fence and shed from his backyard that apparently took 8 dump runs. We got some stuff fixed up at grandpa's house and we brought my aunt a couple things she needed until she finally moves out.
So yeah this week, I am going to be doing some dump runs. If any of you are able to help me pick up some yard waste one of the days this week from my house and my aunt's house, that would be cool. Also, I might need some help getting a lot of dump stuff out of my aunt's house that is not yard waste later in the week. I'll keep you guys posted on that.
Anyway, now for some info.
Times I am gone this summer:
June 20- June 24: Cousin's wedding in Alaska
June 30 - July 6: Cousin's wedding reception at his house in Vegas
August 15 - August 22: Family vacation
Things we need to do this summer:
DnD
Ultimate
Star Wars Marathon
SC LAN party (no lag imp scen and inhouse)
Taco Bell
At least one big gaming party
Pokemon Marathon?
24 Marathon?
Seabrook
Road Trip?
I'm sure I and y'all will think of more as time goes by. Until maybe Wednesday, or at least until next week, peace out.

Even though I had no competition, I still was the first to make a post about Victoria.
Well I'm back from Victoria. It was fun to the extent that it could be. In the end though, I'd have certainly had more fun back in Shoreline hanging out with Orion, Steven, and Davis (and you too!(disregard the you too if your name is Orion, Steven, or Davis)). Before Victoria though, I need to get the week out of the way. Don't worry about how long this post will be. Since Victoria was overnight, I don't think it will take up as much space as it used to. Also, sorry, but I forgot my camera at home so no pictures. Perhaps next year. Oh, and shoutout to PAX-goers (especially Ahmad), we aren't doing that group thing, so buy your tickets. Also, don't wait like last year to buy your tickets because PAX is growing very quickly and they said this year they might reach their limit for ticket sales, so buy yours now.
Monday:
Band was rather boring and painful because we got a new Sousa march that he apparently made to commemorate his making so many marches. I hate that guy so much. Did he try to change it up a bit? No, he just went with the typical Sousa style: <3<3<3 to trumpets and drums and the rest of the band can suck it. After that, I came home and watched 24.
Tuesday:
We got our character roles for the mock trial for law. I got a witness unfortunately, but the attorneys were two people who seemed smart enough. It's a little unfair to them though because everyone gets the same number of points no matter what their job is, so the jury has basically nothing to do to get their points, while the attorneys have to do a lot of work to get theirs. I'm a witness, but I would have liked to get attorney. After school, I spent a lot of time "farming"(happy, Steven?) collectible items for Nicholas the Traveler in Guild Wars and made good money doing that.
Wednesday:
Steven and I finally changed our guild to Luxon. I was very happy to do this as I never really liked the Kurzicks, even before I knew who they were. Luxons are much better though, especially at alliance battles. We were even able to beat the Kurzicks on the map that is the most rigged for them.
Thursday:
We started our mock trial in law. One of the lawyers was not there and the guy that was there had been gone the day we got our stuff, so he was looking it over for the first time. I helped him out by filling in for the girl that was missing until she came in. She was right on the same page as me, which was nice. When it came time for opening statements, our guy had written up a nice speech that sounded really good. The other side didn't do so well. One guy stood up and couldn't form a word for 30 seconds until his other attorney stood up and made their case, but not without putting "um" literally between every word. After school, I was going to hang out with Steven and Orion, but unfortunately, I had homework until later hours in the day. It was helpful to have that much though because it made for good studying.
Friday:
I had nothing much going on, so I met up with Steven after school. *Edit: Orion met us at Steven's house. I forgot to mention that.* From there, we went to throw a disc around for a couple hours before coming back to Orion's to play a strange soccer/punching game. It took an hour and a half, but we finally beat that damn team love. Then, Orion drove me to SCC so I could put my instrument in the truck to send it up to Victoria. After that, we had dinner at Orion's and waited until Davis got there. When Davis got there, we went on an adventure to get settlers of Cataan and then we played it. It is very fun. Orion, it's good to have you back. It's been so long since I needed to type your name that every time I went to type it in this post, I've been hitting "Oroin." Perhaps now that you're back, I can start to get more practice typing it fast again.
Saturday:
I had to be at the clipper at 6:45am. It was not the fun, since I had gone to bed at midnight. On the ride over, Erik, Darren, Chris (lead alto in jazz band), and I played some advance wars in which Erik was on an island and Chris and I formed an alliance against Darren. When we got to Victoria, we all went to our rooms. I was with Dan. The rooms were so nice, they had an entrance hallway with a closet on one side and a bathroom on the other. If you went straight, you went into the bedroom with 2 twin beds. If you went right, you wound up in the living room with a couch, 2 chairs, and a nice deck. We also had a kitchen with a full refridgerator, a sink, a stove, an oven, and some cool pots and pans. It was a really nice room. So I split off and went with Erik and Darren. I felt some obligation to hang out with them because of the Shorewood thing, but I probalby should have just hung out with Dan and the jazz band and drummers or by myself. Anyway, we went to the mall and got a hot dog and a pop. That was the last real meal I would have in Victoria. After that, we went to the videogame store, followed by the comic shop, then the miniatures store (tabletop gaming like Warhammer and stuff). After that, we had to suit up for our concert. I brought my red dress shirt and blue suspenders, so I looked pretty awesome I must say. Our concert was on the docks, which has wind and no shade, so playing music there was hell. When we all de-suited, the three of us went to see the Shorewood people. I saw some shorewood kids, but none as awesome (well it was nice to see Bohdan) AS NATHAN!!!1111 It had been too long since we had had one of our awkward conversations, but it was good to see the guy and hear about the horn situation (it's totally screwed now). He said band wasn't the same without me (see Maddy, I always knew he liked me more!) which could have meant that he missed Maddy and I bickering on either side of him. After seeing the Shorewood kids, we went to get my Dutch chips at the secret grocery store, then we hung out with some Shorewood kids. It was Adam, Frazier, Scott, Sam, and Emily. After being in their room for some time, I started an 8-person comp free for all and I won in an hour and a half. About that time, Bohdan came into the room because the people in his were smoking and he and I left because we didn't want to hang out there any more. After that, I went back to my room. It was 11:30 and I was running on little sleep, so it was a fun, dazed walk across town (we were staying behind the Empress). When I got back to the hotel room, I didn't see Dan or anyone that was drinking there. I guess they decided not to party in our room. I got worried at first, but then I saw that Dan had come back and had one of his hard lemonades, so I knew he was alive and probably getting helza crunk somewhere. I watched mythbusters and played fire emblem on the couch and the next thing I knew, Dan was walking in the door and it was an hour and a half later (I fell asleep), so I got up and went to bed.
Sunday:
I woke up at 9 as per usual, but I stayed in bed for 2 hours to maximize rest time. Someone knocked on the door once at 9:30, then once around 10:30. I figured it was Erik and Darren because they were hanging out with people and after I left the room it seemed like they didn't think I wanted to hang out anymore, so I was free then. We had our parliament performance at 12:30 that we did well at. After that, the jazz band and drummer people went to spaghetti factory, but I left them there to go see Rachel's sister's band that was there. I stayed to watch, but she didn't tell me they went last *whomp whomp.* As I was heading back to the spaghetti factory, I saw the group walking out and I met up with them. They went to go sit at the parliament for a while, so I went my own way yet again. First, I went to my second favorite store in Victoria, Lyle's place. I got 2 good Led Zeppelin CDs for a good price, then I crossed town to go to the secret grocery store again for my Dutch chips to take home. After that, I had an hour and a half until we had to meet, so I went to the meeting spot and just waited there for people to arrive. The clipper ride back was less eventful and when I got home, I cooked myself some real food, then went to sleep.
Today:
I was put on the witness stand today and the attorneys did a good job of protecting me, so I tried my best to protect their case. The other 2 witnesses took 10 minutes each and so far, mine has taken 20 minutes. We pick it up again tomorrow. I didn't think my witness was really that important, or maybe it's just because I'm able to dance around the questions more than I know. Whatever the reason, it's going to be more fun times tomorrow. Band concert is coming up tomorrow, and not much else is happening.
So yeah this week will be much easier. I have a Mariners game on Sunday, but the rest of the weekend is wide open for me. Peace out.

Lunch
My post has nothing to do with lunch, that was just the first thing that popped into my head. Let's see, well if you're reading this blog, then congratulations on not getting bogged down with everyone (except Sai) updating last week. I don't have much to address right now, so I'll just get to the post.
Monday:
After I posted, I did some Guild Wars and got some farming done. I told Steven about my weekend encounter with the alliance battle and he got back into Guild Wars.
Tuesday:
It was rainy and I had math homework I had forgotten and I didn't feel like going to Law since all I would do was math homework anyway, so I stayed home. I got it done a lot faster than I would have in class and I got an extra hour of not having to be up and at school. It was also nice because I was at school just as long as usual because my trumpet lesson ran long when my teacher and I wound up talking for half an hour until the next girl came in and told us she was too sick to play and she was heading home. At that point, we both left because we realized we had been talking for half an hour. After that, Steven and I played a buttload of alliance battles.
Wednesday:
Steven came over and we played about 4 hours of alliance battles before Halo 3 on xbox live then him leaving. It was quite fun to get in all the gaming time and I hope we keep doing that in the future. Maybe not so much now that Orion will be back, but next year, we should do that regularly, Steven.
Thursday:
I went over to my aunt's house and we fixed up her brick walkway with my grandpa's help. He apparently laid the cement before (which explains why it was really cheap and crappy) and he helped us figure out how to level out the huge-ass dip in the walkway. I also got to meet the real estate agent. My aunt was apparently told by the stagers (people that tell you what to put in what room to help your house sell (the theory is it shows how the room can be used)) that she should take out her TVs. Ok well I can see the computer going, but why in the hell would we try to make people think they wouldn't need to watch tv? That was the one suggestion by them that was really stupid I thought.
Friday:
I had really wanted to skip because it was a nice day, but I'm glad I went to school because we had a non-rehearsal day in jazz band where we just go through old tunes for fun. It was indeed fun. After that, I tried one of my section leader's mouthpieces for fun and it doubled my comfortable range. Then Jim came over and handed me his trumpet and showed me how much my trumpet muffled my sound. I guess my trumpet and mouthpiece combination has been like holding 3 baseball bats when all along I could have been holding the one when I was at bat. Anyway, I'm now on the market for a new trumpet and mouthpiece. At the very least, a new mouthpiecce. After school, I didn't do much outside of alliance battles and farming asuran points. The asuran points took up most of my weekend because it was a bonus points weekend for stuff like that. It's basically a minute long segment of something that you do for a very long time, much like getting the Mile High Club achievement in CoD4.
Saturday:
I had to do the Earthcorps thing again. This time, it was at least really nice weather, though my nose got sunburnt. I also got to be more social this time because Justin's younger brother was there doing his honor society hours. Though I didn't talk to him that often in high school, it was at least nice for both of us to have someone to talk to. It makes the work go by faster. After that, I had to go to a funeral for my aunt's best friend's mother. My aunt's best friend is close to the family, so it's not so obscure that we went. She's like a more distant aunt almost because we see her so often. I finally got to meet her son, who it turns out actually knows Davis and knew who I was talking about before I had to mention "sideburns" or "tendinitis." His name is Jesse (Jessie?) and he's in your theory class. I asked if it was the one with the Russian lady and he said yeah. He also said you are teaching him jazz stuff. I shall talk to you about it later. Anyway, after that, I came home and did 7 hours of asuran point farming.
Sunday:
We got up early to meet my grandma in Centralia at this country cousins restaurant for Mother's Day brunch. It was nice. After that we came home and I spent the rest of the day (3pm-11pm) farming asuran points. I got very close to maxing the title.
Today:
I had class as usual today. I found out I tanked on a recent calculus test (of course, by "tanked" I absorbed all the damage and got a perfect score). After school, I got my title maxed, then got a new shield from Steven that will actually be useful to me. I have band coming up soon.
So yeah Orion comes back this week. I'm trying to get my IAS required volunteering in this week as well. Unfortunately, I have Victoria this weekend so no hanging out on my end will occur, but I am back next week and next weekend. I have Mariner's tickets for Memorial Day weekend's Sunday, but around that, I'm good to hang out. Of course, I also have random aunt and grandpa's house jobs to do now and again. Ok well I'll see y'all soon hopefully, peace out.

An even workier week

There's a little picture that just popped into my head last week. It's a car joke, so I apologize Davis as you will probably not get it. Well if I thought I was working a lot last week, I was sorely mistaken. I did much more this week. Though I was sore for the last half of the week, I must admit, it was a good workout most of the time and being outside for once did me some good. I think I'll leave this intro short and I'll get into my post.
Monday:
Band went well. I still haven't gotten to try out the 2nd horn part I made, but we will be working heavily on it today, so I'll see how it goes. One thing that DID happen though is that it was announced that Kellogg (one of the bands that will be at the 3 band concert) needed people to help them play RUSSIAN SAILOR'S DANCE. My hand shot up faster than I knew it could, so that will be sweet. After band, I watched more 24 only to become more confused at where this season is going.
Tuesday:
I had a good trumpet lesson, then I came home and played some Starcraft with Steven.
Wednesday:
I had school as usual, but then instead of gaming right away afterwards, I had to go out to lay down some sod at the pool. I was helping out the guy who was doing the landscaping (he's also a member and a neighbor). The sod laying went well, though the rolls were heavy and I only lifted and moved them and dropped them (u kraine!) for 3 straight hours. My arms were quite sore after that, but it was a very good workout. Also, myself and one of the guys that did the landscaping got into a good groove and we finished off 3 stacks of 60 rolls before the rest of everyone had finished off their own stacks. We were quite pwnage.
After that, I picked up Steven and we played some Soul Calibur 2 until dinner, then some more. I am definitely not as good as him, but I'm not really terrible. Button mashing is a legitimate strategy. I did like on the first match when he said "Let's see if you can hit me" and I proceeded to win. Voldo rules. After that, we played some Halo 3 on live and did adequate. Hopefully Steven gets a 360 someday so we can pwn up Xbox live together.
Thursday:
I went over to my aunt's house, but we couldn't get a rototiller, so I did some small tasks around the place then came home. I had about an hour before I had to leave for the concert. I was taking our vibes there and they are on very loose wheels, so I got to set up a labyrinth of bungee cords to keep it from falling (or moving even). The concert went well. We played after a middle school band and before Roosevelt. Roosevelt was very good. They got to use a jazz french horn (which I have wanted to do for quite some time). He was really good at his solos even though he sounded like a trombone.
Friday:
I had only one class because Law doesn't meet on Fridays and Jazz Band had the day off since we had our concert the day before. We had a test in Calc that I probably got raped on the first page of, but oh well. After school, I went and rototilled my aunt's yard after taking my grandpa to costco for lunch. After that, I met up with Stashley and Sai and we went to Alderwood to see Wolverine. It was quite good albeit short, and there was even a hidden nipple in it!!! I really enjoyed the "I'm the best at what I do" reference and it made me think about how it sucks that M:UA2: Fusion won't come out in time for this summer, but I'll still be getting it. After the movie, we all separated (except for Stashley who probably got closer as they neglected to get on for some Starcraft with Sai and I). Sai and I actually wound up not doing Starcraft because his CD key wasn't working.
Saturday:
I did the EarthCorps thing. It was pretty boring even if there were some really cute supervisors. I singlehandedly terraced a hillside and fell a couple of times before learing to use my pick to hold myself up on the hill. It was rainy and muddy after a while, but we did a good job there. After that, I hung out around my house for the rest of the day. I finally got to see "A Scanner Darkly" which was good, but the animation got in the way at times. It felt like watching an Ask Scwhab commercial.
Sunday:
I spent 8 hours cleaning my room. We're doing that big richmond beach yard sale (while I'm in Victoria unfortunately). Come by and buy my crap! Anyway, there were at least 2 people working in my room at all times, but it's still not done. I like what's gotten done so far though. I took down some old Star Wars posters from Episode 1 that I was tired of looking at and I replaced them with a more awesome Star Wars poster (The Empire Strikes Back poster) and a Mariners 1995 team poster. I also got to finally hang up the Dread Vale (just for you, Davis!) We haven't gotten to the side of the closet that I'm hiding the Sheer pwnage monitor in yet, but it is imminent, so prepare to say goodbye to that. Ah well.
Today:
Not much happened today. I did come up with a cool idea for a novel that I hope I someday get the time to write. If you really want to know, you can ask me about it. Anyway, not much else is going on. I'm about to play some Guild Wars with Steven. I played some alliance battles this weekend and I liked it (probably because I nuked 4 noobs by myself and harassed them for it). Anyway, that's it for now. Peace out.

Work Week
Ok before I start, if you haven't read the previous post, feel free to do so now, I really won't mind. I know Orion saw it, but for the rest of you, it was my fault that I didn't say I was going to update later on during the week. Anyway, if that whole type of post isn't your scene, then don't worry about that. That being said, I think I'll get into the last week.
Sunday:
Since I was really tired when I got back, I was almost falling asleep throughout the afternoon regardless of what I was doing. Luckily I had no homework. That night around 8:00, we all sat down to watch some TV. Dad had hurt his leg, so he was laying on the floor which meant I got the whole couch to myself, so I laid down on it. I forgot that I tend to fall asleep on that couch even when I'm not tired, so I fell asleep (pretty hard) at 8:30 and slept straight until 11:00. I guess my family was shaking me and putting the cats on me to try to wake me up, but I was Steven level passed out there. Anyway, I woke up in a huge daze and then somehow managed to take a shower and get into my own bed where I slept hard until the alarm woke me up.
Monday:
I got up an hour late since we had no law the whole week. It was also nice because since I had no Jazz Band, Math was my only class. I was only at school for 50 minutes before I got to go home. I would have just gone to sleep again, but I had band so I couldn't. Band went well. They still hadn't found a second horn part for one of the songs, so I took home the conductor score for the piece and I used it to make a second horn part for myself. I'll be seeing how it works tonight and hopefully I didn't make any errors.
Tuesday:
I actually had 2 classes. They were very easy though. After Jazz Band, I had my trumpet lesson. I got in a little trouble because I hadn't practiced my stuff in over a week (not that I ever do anyway, but usually I can sight read the stuff we do well). Luckily I got to play the jazz band trip card and I got out of trouble. I forgot to practice this week too, crap. After that, I went over to my aunt's house and met up with my second cousin and we worked in her yard for a few hours. I pressure washed her brick walkway for about 2 hours. I don't think it had ever been pressure washed. It went from being dark almost black in places to bright red and tan all over. It was very strange to see that much of a difference.
Wednesday:
I had 2 classes again. After school, Steven and I played about 8 hours of Starcraft. It was really fun.
Thursday:
I had all three classes, but Law was easy because it was an in class exercise that I was proctoring. After school, more Starcraft ensued. Steven figured out how to wall in well and now I'm working on it too.
Friday:
2 classes before some Starcraft. Eventually, Steven wound up making a macro for a gun for Starcraft to impress people. While he was doing that, I signed on Guild Wars to check what the deal was with the big update. It's a really awesome update full of cool shit I wish they had given us when we played all the time. Ah well, hopefully this stuff will be around for Guild Wars 2 (which I expect everyone to get so we can get some pwnage Teriyaki...pwnage going).
Saturday:
I had to do my service learning from 10am-2pm. If nothing else, it was at least a good workout. The guy that hoarded the shovel was a useless douche that only tried to pick up chicks. I got a ton of blackberry bush scratches that look really cool when you're there because it's like "Ooh, he's taking the job seriously and he's really contributing." Unfortunately, when you leave that place, it just looks like you lost a fight with a kitten and they just exist to itch and burn when you're in the shower.
Sunday:
We dropped off our 5 broken TV sets (three were my grandpa's from the 70s and 80s) at Goodwill, then we went to my aunt's house, got more goodwill stuff, then went to my grandpa's and got his extra TV to borrow (our upstairs one crapped out). After that we came back here and dad and I built our new barbecue. Our old barbecue, which was about 7 or 8 years old had been missing the ignitor for the past 4 years, and only one side worked at a time (first, the left side broke, then more recently, the left side came back, but the right side broke). Anyway, our new barbecue was christened with really good steaks that I will probably never have again. It's a nice barbecue though, we should totally have some stuff from it when we hang out this summer.
Today:
Not much has happened today. I've been doing the usual routine.
So yeah I'll be going to my aunt's house later in the week. On top of fixing my aunt's house and cleaning my grandpa's house, I now get to help clean our house for the yard sale coming up on May 16th (when I'm in Victoria unfortunately). I'll still try to find time for everything I do (shouldn't be hard). Pure Pwnage hasn't said when the new episode comes out yet, but I hope it either comes out on a Saturday night or Memorial Day weekend otherwise I might not be able to go see it due to my service learning and needing to be there to get class credit. It came out on a Saturday last time though, so we could still be fine (I get off at 2, so we would just have to haul ass a bit). Aside from that, it may only be week 5 for Steven and I, but I'm looking forward to summer when we shall meet up and do pwnage things. Peace out until next week.

What's On? Firefly.
Ok first of all, if you don't know what's going on, I suggest you read the previous post (it is brief (not boxers, sorry)) so that you are not confused anymore. If you DO know what's going on, then welcome to What's On? This time, I will be telling you about the series Firefly.Firefly is a science fiction series that aired on Fox from 2002-2003. It was cancelled sadly after just 14 episodes. Since its cancellation, it has achieved cult status. I personally wanted to get into the show when it came out, but I was too young to watch it, so when it was cancelled, I forgot about it for a long time. I recently rediscovered it when I thought about it and then realized I could probably find it on Hulu.
The premise of the show is that there are 9 people on board a Firefly class ship (named so because of their resemblance to a firefly) named Serenity. On board, we have:
Mal Reynolds- Mal is the captain of Serenity. He's a very sarcastic guy, but he obviously has a conscience and he cares about the safety of his crew.
Zoe Washburn- A long time friend of Mal, Zoe is a very loyal companion who is very cool and collected at all times. She is married to the ship's captain.
Wash Washburn- The ship's captain and sometimes the comic relief. He's a skilled pilot and he doesn't get as much screen time as he deserves mainly because he's behind the controls of the ship most of the time. He has good lines when he gets to move around though.
Inara Serra- Inara is a companion, which is basically a classy whore. In the future, whores are prostitutes that aren't registered with the guild. Companions are very graceful and elegant (a stark contrast from modern day prostitutes) and they are actually looked up to in some circles.
Jayne Cobb- I don't know why he got a girl's name (frankly, it confused me for the first 4 or 5 episodes when I was surprised to see a man answer when they yelled out Jayne). He's the strongman that carries all the guns. He's slow witted, but handy in a fight and he somehow winds up being the butt of most of the jokes.
Kaylee Frye- The ship's mechanic. She's very spacey and innocent minded. She's one of those characters that it's hard to watch at some times because of her trusting nature and her strange ability to see what's good in everyone even when there isn't anything good in them.
Simon Tam- The ship's doctor. He and his sister River are on the run from the Alliance.
River Tam- Simon's sister and an escapee from a secret alliance training facility. Nobody knows what happened to her in there, but it obviously made her somewhat crazy.
Shepherd- I don't know if they ever brought up this guy's name, but he is always called shepherd. Basically, that means he's a travelling pastor. He is very calm and seems like a pacifist, but he hides a wide array of useful skills.
The series takes place in the year 2541 I believe (might be a few years off on either end). Earth was used up and humanity moved out and terraformed a bunch of "new earths." These new earths became fronteir worlds and some more central ones became large cities. The fronteir worlds are very much like scenes out of an old western movie. It is those worlds that give this sci-fi series a much more distinct western flavor than other science fiction series and movies. Another thing that sets Firefly apart is that it does not have any aliens. At all. Everyone is human and frankly, it was a nice, new perspective to have on science fiction.
Before the series begins, some big events went down. The centralized planets decided to form a government called the alliance. Many were opposed to that and there was a big war over it. Mal and Zoe fought side by side in that war, which helped build their trusting friendship. Unfortunately, the alliance (which was funded far better) won. Mal decided to get away from it all, so he bought a ship and he set sail to wherever the space winds blew him.
The crew of the Serenity are basically smugglers, but they also help out people on fronteir worlds if the money's good enough. The nine people all bring different points of view to the show that make for some good dialogue opportunities. The writing is very good, although I still have no idea why they always swear in Chinese. It was never explained, but there are websites that translate what they say and some of the insults are pretty funny.
The show was unfortunately cancelled after just 14 episodes of which many were aired in the wrong order. I believe that the show was cancelled due to lack of interest (duh) caused by the times it was aired in. The show is essentially about defying a government and the show was aired around the time between when 9/11 happened and before we invaded Iraq. During that time, people weren't really up for a revolt against the government. I believe that if the show had been aired during the waning years of the Bush presidency, it would have done far better and we would probably still be watching it now.
All in all, Firefly is a great science fiction series that you should definitely find time to watch (you won't need a lot of time). If you like it, I'm told you would like the movie as well (Called "Serenity"). I haven't seen it yet, but I would figure it's good since it is basically wrapping up the series.
Well that does it for this round of "What's On?" Remember, this is not a regular post, but it does come again. My next series will probably not go by as quickly as this one did. Ah well, tune in next time.

What's On?
So like many college students, I now find cool ways to combine things in my life, such as homework and TV, videogames and TV, or TV and more TV. I'm not actually at the TV (unless a Mariners game is on), but instead I've discovered Hulu. Notice it has replaced my galvanize link. I'm sorry Galvanize, but you have not existed for 2 years now. It was time to go. Anyway, this TV watching gave me an idea. I figured I should make a post each time I finish a series to tell you guys about it. It will make me feel slightly better for not hating on things recently (I hope to do it again soon). This type of post is going to be very random because TV series last different lengths of time and my amount of free time varies, so this is not a regular segment, but it will be a recurring one. Of course, as with all recurring posts, this one will get a label so you can go back and look at it later. I'm going to do some stuff now, but I will make my first post of this nature tonight or maybe tomorrow. I just want to make sure people read this post first.

I should have broken up this week into two posts
Yeah I was actually planning on posting about my week on Wednesday before the trip, but I figured I wouldn't have that much to talk about after the Texas trip. Well, lesson learned and I was quite wrong. As for why I'm posting on a Sunday, it's because my Law professor is gone with DECA this week and we are not meeting. Along with that, Jazz Band has the day off tomorrow because we spent the whole weekend being jazzy. So basically my only class is math and I figured it would be stupid to add an extra day that would consist of "so far nothing has happened except my math class." Ok, with that out of the way, how about I jump into the week?
Tuesday:
I had school as normal, but had to skip my trumpet lesson so that I could make it downtown in time for the Mariners game. I took the bus to near dad's office and met him there, then we walked about 10 blocks to Safeco. The game was really good. We were in the upper deck, but it was still cool. When Griffey ran on the field for the first time, it was absolutely crazy in the stadium. They had obviously planned on cheering for Griffey taking a while, but it lasted longer than they thought it would, so they had the next guy in the batting order run out so they could get on with the show, otherwise Griffey would have gotten cheered for until well after the game was supposed to start. Every time Griffey had an at bat, he got a standing ovation. It was really cool for me to see my favorite professional athlete back in Seattle. Another cool thing about the game is that it was my first professional sporting event that I was ever at when it went into some kind of overtime/extra innings. It only lasted into the 10th until we won, but it was still cool because I had never been at a game when something like that happened before. After that, I had to hurry back to SCC for a 2 hour jazz band rehearsal until 10. So if you were reading carefully, I didn't really spend that much time in my house that day.
Wednesday:
I spent the early afternoon doing homework, then contemplating whether to post, but eventually deciding not to because I didn't think I would have enough. As I now realize though, it would have been better to get this stuff out of the way. After Steven got back from his special lecture with Ashley, we proceeded to join a huge-ass Runescape group in a PvP server and we just dominated everything we came across. Steven and I got some good loot, but not a ton because in a group that size, it's hard to be the guy that deals the most damage.
Thursday:
I had my classes as usual, then Chris (lead alto), Steve (lead trumpet), Dan, and I went to Gordito's, then the airport. We met up there with everyone else and then checked in and waited for the plane to arrive. One of our instruments was a big 1.5 foot long, 6 inch diameter " the metal enema" shaker. Jim (conductor) had some fun times while getting that through security. Anyway, the plane ride was cool. I sat next to Dan and I spent the flight playing Fire Emblem and he read a ton of this textbook on music producers. Our flight got in at around midnight. After that, those of us that didn't drive the rental cars got to wait an hour and a half at the airport for the rental cars to show up. After we got to the hotel, we went out to a diner nearby. On the way there, this girl trombone made a joke about what the University of North Texas college radio station's callsign would be (KUNT). During the meal, Jim asked everyone if they wanted to go "See UNT." After he said that, the girl and looked at each other because we were the only ones that caught it at the time and we both just broke into laughter. Nobody else got it until later. The waitress there was really nice and she had a voice that was the voice you get when you smoke cigarettes for about 150 years. Anyway, after that meal, we all went back to the hotel to go to sleep. I guess some people were jamming downstairs in one of the many conference rooms in the hotel, so our bassist, guitarist, and Dan jammed with them. I was with the two "older" guys in the band. Not that they're really old, but they're the oldest guys in the band. It was nice though because that meant I was in the mature room, which is really handy when it comes to sleeping.
Friday:
We listened to some groups perform for their competitions earlier in the day, then we all split up to go to our respective "Master Classes." Steve, Chelsea, Jim (since he's a trumpet player irl), and I went to our trumpet one. The guy teaching was knowledgeable, but tried to crack too many jokes for my taste. I did learn a good amount from that class though even if it was basically what my private lesson teacher has been telling me for a while now. After that, we had to warm up for our set. We were doing good in there. When we got on stage and performed, we didn't do as well because the setup was funky and we couldn't hear the drums. The other two trumpets were competing with each other to lead the section on being in time, while I just thought "Fuck it" and I played in time with the trombones because it felt right. In the end, our clinic judge said we did very well. We didn't do perfect I know, but it was still nice to hear the guy say we did so well on our songs especially since we're a two year band amongst all these great 4 year university bands. It was cool to be invited to this thing and to be compared to all the other bands. Not much happened until later in the night. We had tickets to see the North Texas University one o'clock band. The unfortunate part was that seating was limited and if we wanted good seats, we would have had to sit through the jazz vocalists (eww). I popped in and out a bit as other people did throughout (not what she said). During that time, there was a boozer going on amongst our band. About half of the people were legal. When more and more people joined in, I hung out with Myles, our lead tenor who's actually a really funny guy, since he also doesn't drink even though he's definitely old enough to. We went and watched the UNT faculty perform and then some buzzed band members showed up and hung out with us. The one o'clock band was excellent as usual even if they took way to many encores. They had a really hilarious bass player that made a sex face while he played and he hunched over his bass and thrusted himself at it when he played, so it really looked like he was humping his bass. So while all that was happening, off in other regions of the hotel, people were getting drunk and whatnot.
Saturday:
Around midnight, a bunch of us went into a vacant conference room for a late night jam session. Some cool people from Tennessee, Florida, and California showed up and jammed with us for about 3 hours. Eventually, the other people got tired and the session broke up, but it was cool to just be able to play and solo a bit for 3 hours. Steve, Megan (one of the bass players), and I went on a beer/David is thirsty and wants milk or apple juice or something run. It was unsuccessful, though we did discover a Steak N Shake that I was very excited to see. After that, we went back to the hotel and picked up some more people and went to STEAK N SHAKE!!! for a nice 4:30 am snack. The lady there was the only waitress on duty at the time and she was really cool. We later referred to her as big momma because she was a whole lot of woman. After going back to the hotel and hanging out in the hall for a while, I finally got to bed at 6:30am. I woke up at 10:57 (needed to be in the lobby at 11:00 if I wanted to go on a tour of the UNT campus). I saw the clock and I thought "Oh shit!" and I got up and dressed as quickly as I could and got to the lobby in time. The campus tour was cool, especially because we stopped at 7-11 on the way and I got a slurpee for breakfast (I ate very well while I was there). It was a nice enough campus. The squirrels are insane and the ants are as well. There was a lot of eye candy in the gym there. Jim decided to have a 3-point contest while we were in there and he missed his first shot, then on his second shot, he said "Man, I haven't played basketball in like 5 years" and proceeded to swish a three pointer. For lunch, everyone got together and went to a really good barbecue joint recommended to us by big momma. I wanted to go back and give her another tip for that suggestion, it was a great place to eat. Later in the day, all but four of us went to the Rangers game. It was really fun to be there because it was a nice stadium and we got to root for the royals. Our thing was to do the clap pattern from the opening of "working at the car wash" that goes clap.......clap.......clap...clap clap clap clap clap. We would say Royals over the last 2 claps. At one point, some guys behind us decided to yell "Suck" after we said our thing which was pretty funny. We did it again, planning to say "not as bad as the Rangers" right after they said suck, but they didn't bite that time. In the fifth inning, if the Rangers scored, we would have gotten free tacos, so we switched to Rangers fans for that inning. It was very funny when we did our clap thing but instead said "Rangers" and the guys behind us said "Suck" before they could realize what we said. Everyone nearby had a good laugh about that. Unfortunately, the Rangers suck and we did not get free tacos. About 3/4 into the game, a severe weather warning was issued which I guess is a suggestion to head downstairs if you're in the upper deck, so we did. People stayed up there, but I'm glad we didn't because we were able to jack some sweet vacated seats on the third base line where we proceeded to annoy everyone as we cheered the Royals on to victory. The sweetest part was that the Rangers came close to winning before their hope was completely destroyed. After that, we went out in search of a tex-mex joint and found a good one.
Today:
After we got back to the hotel, we went and found a jam session going on. Most of the stuff had been packed up, so only piano's remained and maybe a stray bass here and there if you were lucky. We came across a vocalist and a pianist and a bassist and a drummer playing together. They were really good and more hot vocalists showed up, so the three of us that shared a room (me, our lead trumpet, and our pianist) decided to hunt down another room to play in. We were soon joined by our Bari player and we jammed for about four hours since we had to leave at 5 in the morning anyway. It was fun because we found a room with a bass and a conga. I would have hopped on the bass, but I suck even when there are frets, so I was totally lost. The conga was fun to play though. Eventually, the four of us just practiced soloing and it was really helpful for me at least to learn more about soloing. I'm slowly getting better and hopefully when I increase my range more, it will be better for soloing. We went straight from jamming to packing up to leaving. It was pretty boring from there. I fell asleep on the plane, then played Fire Emblem for the last hour or so. When I got back here, I had some homework to catch up on, but not much else.
Well that's that. I'm going to have more time nowadays. I still won't be good to go on Saturdays, but during the week I will. I'm going over once a week though hopefully to help work on my aunt's house or my grandpa's house because we're getting closer to the big move and it makes everyone's lives easier if I can come over in the middle of the week and take care of some odd jobs here and there. I think I'm going to be digging up a brick walkway this week. Anyway yeah, talk to me if you want to do something. Other than that, peace out.

Distraction post

Not that I need to distract you from the looks of it (no comments), but I came across this paper when I was cleaning my grandpa's house and I liked how it failed to prove the point it tries to make. Maybe it's actually funny or maybe I'm just becoming too much of a lawyer. Either way, this post is being made in place of a Things I Hate. If you haven't noticed, it's been more than a month since I last posted one. It's getting harder and harder to find things to hate, so I may be introducing a new regular post to go in the Things I Hate gaps. Right now, the front runner is a regular post abour random things that I come across that I really like (Things I Like?). Anyway, here is a nice religious post for all of you, enjoy. The parts I like most are the parts about how they washed dishes and how they needed God's help to find open space in the desert.

Honorable Mention
Well I was informed that the Blizzard Theme Park Contest was decided. Unfortunately, Gantris VI did not win, but it did get an honorable mention (which I was honored to recieve (only slightly less honored than I would have been to win).
The link to the honorable mention page: http://www.blizzard.com/us/misc/contests/blizzardthemepark/
Mine is the 2nd one (the one that looks like mine).
The first place one was this:http://www.blizzard.com/shared/blizz-com/images/misc/contests/blizzardthemepark/starcraft.jpg
I don't usually say things like this, but I feel like I should have won. I mean, don't get me wrong, this guy's drawing was leaps and bounds better than mine, but I just thought my ideas were more witty and frankly, more relevant to Starcraft lore (which is what the contest called for).
Oh well, maybe I'll win the comic contest (if I ever get around to entering one of these months, haha).

Me: holy shit my math book is so ghey
it tells you "C(r) is the total cost of paying off a car loan borrowed at an annual interest rate of r%. What are the units of C(r)"
it's like YOU JUST TOLD ME WHAT THEY ARE
Steven: welll
it doesn't tell you what country you are in
it could be dollars
or it could be pesos
Me: haha
good point
you have redeemed my math book

So this has been a pretty good past week. Things are all funneling nicely into place before I leave on Thursday for the Jazz Band trip, then when I get back, much free time shall ensue. I'm hoping we get D&D going someday. The only days I won't really be available for D&D are Saturday and Sunday. All throughout the weekdays, I'll be good to go. I've also noticed that my homework load is very light this quarter. Looking ahead, it's not going to get much worse, so weekdays are going to be more and more open as the quarter goes on and as I slowly have less commitments. Ok well anyway, I'm going to get on with the post, which will be a normal formatted post.
Monday:
Band went pretty well. My friend in the trumpet section that is also in Jazz Band quit band because she said she is getting her credit for that doing something else that meets on a better day for her. For what it's worth, I can still talk to Erik and Darren or Dan if I need to, but mostly I just sit around until class is over. Victoria is coming up about a month from now and that's going to be pretty cool. Hopefully Dan and I won't be tagged along to by the others. That is my only worry, that I will feel forced to spend all my time with the Shorewood guys. It probably won't happen though as the three of them are tight and they will not probably not notice/mind if I'm not hanging out with them.
Tuesday:
We had not much going on. I started doing my homework during math class again because I find I can pay just as much attention while doing my homework as I can while doing nothing or playing calculator games, but at least this way, I feel productive. Nothing much else happened that day.
Wednesday:
We had our last jazz band rehearsal of the week. We decided to not meet on Thursday and instead, we are meeting for 2 hours to get in a really good rehearsal tomorrow night. Mr. Sisko had one of his students from another band there that day and he was pretty good at trumpet, but the other two didn't like him. He was not as good as them and he was kind of a cock. Naturally though, I tolerated his presence. We traded off between third and fourth parts and on one part, he gave me third and it had a solo so I asked if he wanted it back and he gave me a cockly reply that "It's just blues, that's the easiest thing you can get." Ok well sure, but I haven't kept up on my theory and for those of you that don't know, over the solo, you have stuff like G7 or something like that above the bar and that is supposed to immediately tell you what notes to play. Well it does exactly that, but I'm not good at translating that fast, so my solo consisted of basically quarter notes as I quickly tried to figure out the notes as we went along. About 8 measures in, Sisko stopped the band and gave me pointers on how to solo well and even talked about "jumping off points" for potential teachers in the band and gave me a few good notes that would work throughout the solo and when I just played those notes, I had a far better solo. Granted, it was just 3 notes with different octaves, but it sounded much better than before. Because he did this, I now like Sisko better than Doug. It was really cool of him to help me out like that without making me feel embarassed since I blew (the bad kind of blowing) on the solo the first try.
Thursday:
We had a trumpet sectional instead of Jazz Band. After that, I had to go to Magnuson park for my service learning orientation with EarthCorps. When I get there and park, who should show up in the car behind me, but that nerdy guy from class. It turns out he's actually pretty cool, but I still have the desire to either pwn him in a trial or get teamed up with him for an unstoppable force of domination. There were 2 hot girls in the place that were seniors or juniors I can't remember. I would say a mack battle occured, but I was the only person there with any mack (even my little amount was enough to win). The guy coordinating the volunteer stuff is really cool. He has a big, bushy beard and it's easy to tell he would be an environmentalist by looking at him. The really cool thing about him though is that he also has a mole and not only that, but it's in the same place mine is. The service learning stuff will take place on Saturdays throughout the quarter. This means that from here until June, I will not have any normal Saturdays. I will either be doing service learning or I will be on a band trip. The rest of my weekends will be made up of homework and work on grandpa's house or my aunt's house.
Friday:
I went and met grandpa and my aunt at Costco for lunch, then my aunt came back here to do her taxes, then I went over to grandpa's house to fix up stuff for the following day. I finally finished our swivel chair. It looks nice for having originally been a pile of garbage.
Saturday:
Dad and I met grandpa at Costco for lunch, then picked up food for dinner after the work party that day. After that, we went to grandpa's house and started fixing stuff up. The rest of the family arrived shortly thereafter. All of them worked inside and I worked outside. I was the only one outside because the inside stuff is all trivial crap I don't care about and I'm the only one trusted by grandpa to work with stuff in the backyard. People were saying we shouldn't throw too much away from the backyard because grandpa can't take that stress, but he and I have like minds and we know what's really up. We know that if we go with their plan and wait until he's moved out to throw everything away, EVERYTHING will get thrown away. Now the thing nobody gets is that there's a ton of good stuff he has laying around. The good stuff is under the garbage, you just have to look. I'm pretty much the only one who's found it. The other one is my second cousin and he has been taking whatever he wants for a while, which is good because he uses it and it's stuff we don't have to get rid of there. So grandpa and I are trying to get stuff that isn't really garbage by any standards out of the shed and the backyard and to a safe place (my house where it will get used) and we figure it only makes sense to throw the garbage away as we go along.
Sunday:
I had the Mariners game on all day and I was doing some homework. After that, dad decided we should go use my Joe's gift card that I got for my eagle ceremony in December of 2007, since Joe's filed for bankruptcy and isn't getting money and my card could soon be worthless. We were going to get me work boots, but the selection was bad. At least prices were low though. We wound up getting a bag of M&Ms, 2 bags of beef jerky, paint to repair paint chips by the keyhole on the truck, and a flask. That's right, I'm the proud owner of a flask. My parents might think I'm an alcoholic, but I figure it's like the police, you don't have to be afraid if you haven't done anything wrong. Anyway yeah I keep water in it for now, but still it's pretty cool.
Today:
It was pretty boring today as well. I didn't get much done yet because I've been making this post.
So yeah this Jazz Band trip will be cool and when it's over, I'll have a lot more time. Since I do service learning on some weekends now, that just makes my weekends more crowded. I'm also going to start going over once or twice a week to really start fixing my grandpa's house and my aunt's house. Ok well not much else is going on now, so peace out.
Monday:

RIP Sai: The Movie
If you're confused on the title, fear not for I shall enlighten you. If you recall, near the end of junior year, the elections for senior class officers came up and Sai was running for vice president. Sai, Steven, and I decided to make a video for sai in which he gets blown up by a firework, taken away in an ambulance, then escapes from the ambulance because "nobody can kill me I am invincible!" From there, he puts on goggles and plays 2 games of dolphin olympics at the same time. After that, he defeats Steven at risk multiple times (though when we were rolling the dice, the wrong side was always winning, making for some funny rolls). Finally, he kills Steven and the cameraman before going on to the credits to "play" (it actually fooled Zach for a while) the solo from Stairway to Heaven. In that solo is the last known video recording of bubble fish (also RIP). Recently, I recieved an email from google telling me the video was blocked because it was flagged with copyrighted content. After a lot of thinking, I finally figured it was probably from the Stairway solo. Now the really sucky part is that the video was made on my school craptop, so the only copy of the video that exists is online. I can no longer access the video to download it, but it is still on my account and nobody, not even myself, can view it. I'm working on trying to get google to let me download it somehow, but no such luck yet. Hopefully it will not be lost in the void.
Ok anyway, time to get onto the week. This time, I think I'll just post about different things instead of day by day because it's nice to have some change once in a while.
PAX:
So the latest on PAX is that I cannot pay for the 10 people. I don't have a credit card and my parents weren't too keen on the idea of putting down that much money because we are also financing the fixing up of my grandpa's house, my aunt's house, and moving my grandpa, so we aren't in a good financial position to put down money for pax as well. If someone has a credit card and is willing to spot us all the 400-500 bucks to get in, it would be much appreciated. We have to order all 10 at once to get the group rate ($5 off). If nobody takes it up, we might as well just take the $5 hit and order our tickets normally. I really don't care either way because hell it's 5 bucks and I know I will get my money's worth either way.
Ok now onto the week's events, starting with my new classes.
Business Law 9:30-10:20 MTWTh:
I was really looking forward to this class, but I didn't really realize what I was getting into. Since this is a class required for business students, it's more geared around laws that businesses will encounter, rather than court proceedings. Also, our professor got rid of a bunch of case briefings we would have done that supposedly take about 20 hours overall. Instead, we are required to do 15 hours of service learning. Service learning means you work at the food bank or something and tell about how it reflects the law. This really sucks for me because I joined the class hoping we would get a lot of case briefings since I enjoy those, but unfortunately, I am a lawyer in a class of entrepreneurs, so epic fail there. I'll get through the class, but it won't be as fun as I thought it would be. Also, there's this really nerdy guy in the class that is the kind of nerdy where he talks like a dick (condescending and stuff) to everyone. I hope that in our mock trials, I either get paired up with him to make an unstoppable force of pwnage or I hope I get pitted against him so I can wipe the floor with his ass.
Business Calculus 10:30-11:20 Daily:
Of this class, 1/4 of the people are people that were in my last math class, 1/2 are in my business law class just before this, and 1/4 are people I've never had class with before. I got the same math teacher I've had all year, which is really cool because she's one of the best math teachers I've ever had. This calculus stuff is all new to me (good to finally be seeing things in math I don't recognize), but now that I understand all the stuff I did not back in high school, I'm more confident about calculus now. I think I can pull of a good grade in this class.
Jazz Band 11:30-12:20 Daily:
Doug is on a sabbatical learning about the physics of sound so that he can make a new class at SCC, which imco sounds like a totally badass class. In his place, we got this Sisko guy who Davis had said was a cool guy and he really is. I'm actually learning about chords now and everyone else seems to really like him. I was the only one that didn't hate Doug apparently. It's because I'm used to Harshman, so nothing fazes me anymore. This new guy though is a trumpet player, so our section is getting better. It's going to be a good quarter. Also, we've been practicing hard because we have that contest in Dallas a week from Saturday. It's going to be very cool.
Intra-American Studies Online:
This class is a good class for me because we're learning how to be tolerant all quarter. Unfortunately, I have to do 4 hours of volunteer work, but I might be able to count my service learning for that and Steven's probably going to do some with me, so that will be cool. The thing that sucks about the class is we assume a Monday-Friday work week, but it ends at 11:55 am on Friday, when I am still in class. Basically, that makes Friday useless for that class, so that's going to be a hassle all quarter, but on the plus side, I guess it's one less class I have to worry about those days.
Concert Band 7:00-9:30 Monday:
It's pretty much the same. We have an all new Alto Sax section except for that one older guy and Steve is no longer in the band, but I still have people to talk to. For Victoria, I found out Dan and I will be roomates, which will be epic. Darren, Eric, and someone else wanted me to room with them, but I knew from Ken we were trying to get 2 people to a room, so I was like screw that, (but more politely) and I'm sharing a room with just Dan. Our new songs are okay and that stupid girl has still not returned so I am happy.
Ok well that's my class list. Now for things in real life.
Runescape:
Steven got me into Runescape. It's actually pretty fun I must say. Well most of the time at least. I still have a long way to go until I'm a competent player, but I'm working on it. It also helps to have a friend in the game who's richer than God. Also, Steven showed me a cool song from the game that leads into my next section.
Sea Shanty 2:
So I heard this song in Runescape and I liked it, so I decided to make it using Noteworthy Composer 2 (I have a free 30 day trial version that I've had for 120 days and I think I'll have it as long as I want). It was a good way to familiarize myself with the program and I'll probably post the video to youtube or something this week. Now that I've done that, I kind of want to do a LoZ ocarina medley or something. Of course eventually, I want to take on the Terran Theme as well, but that is a ways off.
Grandpa's House:
We spent the day there on Saturday. I helped Grandpa clean stuff out in the backyard while the other three cleaned out a whole room full of old paperwork and stuff. It was pretty fun to clean the backyard even though I munched it up a bit when I had to use an axe one some large items.
Videogames:
I beat Phoenix Wright 2 and I liked it pretty good. Now I'm on Fire Emblem and that game rocks. I'm going through it very fast and I hope it lasts a long time because it is surprisingly very fun.
Possible UW visit???
Dan and I were talking about how we both haven't been to the UW in a while and he suggested we go sometime. He's gone all this week and our trip is next week, but eventually we will probably show up so I might wind up calling Lucy so I'm not alone with Stanwood kids when we're there.
So yeah all is good. The first week of the quarter is always hectic trying to get things figured out and catching up where I can. Luckily, things look like they will settle down after the jazz band trip because a major time eater right now is practicing for that. I'm looking forward to that trip for the experience and for the peace that shall ensue thereafter. Anyway, happy easter coming up and don't let rabbit robot attack us all.
Peace out.
Ok anyway, time to get onto the week. This time, I think I'll just post about different things instead of day by day because it's nice to have some change once in a while.

Peace out.

Four More Years!
Howdy y'all. This is not going to be a post about the week (which will be apparent if you look down and notice how short this is). I'm making this post to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the blog. It turns four tonight at 7:22. That's it for now, have a good remainder of the weekend.
