*In the car, I have the climate control for the driver's seat set at 70, which is somewhat hot for me, but generally comfortable*
*It is obviously too cold for mom as she turns up the heat high in the backseat and pumps it high, filling her area with hot air and sending some into my area, making me rather uncomfortably hot.*
Me: Mom, can you turn down your heat?
Mom: No way, your vent is blowing cold air at me.
Me: What? It's set at 70 up here? It's only cold air because it feels cold next to the heat you got coming out of the vent back there.
Mom: Fine, I'll turn it off. (angrily mutters) Where's the blanket back here?
Dad: You'd think there would be a middle ground, huh?
Me: Man, I've learned by now, there is no middle ground.
Dad: Haha, that's a damn good lesson to learn this early on.
lastredcoat: sc tomorrow?
me: hmm
most likely yes
lastredcoat: good.
me: though again later in the day is more certain than earlier in the day
lastredcoat: i might have to go fucking canoing tomorrow morning
so yeah
me: yuck
well be sure to exercise proper safety precautions
because i would hate to have to come all the way out there to drag your drowned ass out of the swamp for some necropheliaSC
lastredcoat: i'd still have higher apm than you
me: hahahaha
sadly
you're probably right
lastredcoat: that was an epic burn

Winter Break 09-010 Part 2
Well hello there again. It is now time for the second part of my break. This might be the least interesting part of the whole break(crap, why did I start out the post by saying that?), but nonetheless, I must post it for my own future interest if for no other purpose. I'll just get right into it, it will not be too long.
Edit: I am talking to Keir as I make this post and he would like me to correct a statement I made in the last post regarding how little he and I have done with our lives. He would like me to tell everyone he is a "and how i am such a productive member of society" and would like me to make a list of ways.
-He has created the most popular English Starcraft Rap on Youtube.
-He saw Tim Tebow once.
-He is a communist and will soon change the student government at UF.
-He has had more conversations with women than I have.
-He maintains a (somewhat) higher APM than I and far better macro (for the time being O_o).
-He remains the most frequently quoted on my blog and on my facebook page.
-He did something at model UN that involved a major regime change or something.
Ok, there you have it Keir. You are a productive member of society....to some level I suppose. Regardless, you seem to have done more with yourself than I have (for the time being...). Ok, well on with the post. If any of you ever want me to correct something I said about you, you have to catch me while I'm posting.
Thursday:
It was Christmas Eve, but that didn't stop my Grandpa from taking me to Costco. I invited mom and Kathryn along because they wanted to get Kathryn some driving practice. Grandpa enjoyed the extra company. Afterwards, I took him to Fred Meyer and then back to his place where I fixed up a couple of things for him before heading off. Dad got off work early, so we went to see Up in the Air, which was a pretty good movie.
Friday:
We got up and opened presents. Dad and I got a dartboard which we will put to good use when we finish up rearranging the garage. It will be fun to play darts again once we get the board up. I also got The Saboteur, a 360 game (sandbox game, you guys might not be interested). I also got from my grandma MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE 2!!!!1 DEEP FREEZE, FANTASTIC FIRE! CURSE OF THE HAND! FERAL RAGE!!!1111111
That was certainly exciting. I also got from my cousin a happy kwanzaa gift card to best buy. He must have known my secret contempt for that strange holiday. My grandma also surprised me. Back when she asked me for things I might want for Christmas, I gave her a couple suggestions and then made up a 360 game called "Crazy Susan 4: The Search for Goat Cheese Mountain." I was hoping she would ask someone at a store about it and look silly, but she didn't so I just told her it was fake. She then surprised me by having one of her friends draw up a cover for it and giving that to me. It was pretty funny and I'll post the picture of it later. We went and had dinner at my uncle's house and then came home and watched 500 days of summer, which was okay. When we exited ondemand and got sent back to the cable, there was some movie called "Grandma got Run Over by a Reindeer." I watched the remainder of it because of it's really strange plot and plethora of wtf moments.
Saturday:
We got up early and set out for the tri-cities hoping to make it there by noon. We ran into some trouble along the way though when our tire sprung a leak. Luckily, we pulled into Les Schwab (and I capitalize that with the utmost respect) in Ellensburg and they fixed the tire in 15 minutes for free. I thought it cost money, but dad said he knew it wasn't going to. He even tried to pay them for it, but they refused. I definitely agree with our family saying of "The world would be a better place if it was run more like Les Schwab." We continued on and got to the tri-cities somewhat later than we hoped, but we met my grandma for lunch at Red Robin and then checked into the hotel and went over to my uncle's house to hang out.
-So in Kennewick, my grandpa owned a big 40-acre farm that my mom and her brothers grew up on. They eventually sold the farm and the "back 40" when I was 10, so I have memories of the place still. The new owner promptly developed the hell out of the back 40 and now it's all houses. My uncle's house is in that area and it was really strange to look around and remember it as a field and now I was about to go into a house there.-
We hung out there for several hours, seeing the whole family and eating good food. Eventually, it got late and we went back to the hotel for sleep.
Today:
We got up early for the breakfast at the hotel, then we went to see my grandpa's grave before going to see my great grandma. She is 96 now and she has alzheimers, but if you see her in the morning, she is normal for a little while before she starts going off on something (today it was how she ran into a friend of hers the other day in Auburn (Auburn, NY). After that, we went back to my uncle's house to say goodbye to everyone and then we began the drive back home. My parents insisted on letting Kathryn drive part of the way since she needs 20 drives to do this discount thing for the insurance. I hate letting her drive though because she's still n00b at it and also I just dislike not driving. She did fine though, avoiding accidents (though one guy almost hit us). I took over after we stopped for lunch in Yakima. Tonight, we had some time, so we decided to go see Sherlock Holmes. It was good. I even ran into Alec on the way there. It was good to see him back doing work and stuff after the whole drugs thing he got into there for a while during high school. I always felt bad about him because it was like the whole thing with Zack where he's one of my oldest friends (in that I've known him since preschool (even longer than Rachel)) and I probably could have done more about it when I noticed he was doing bad stuff, but I didn't and now I'll never really know. Like I said though, it was good to see him doing well though and good to just talk to him since I hadn't in a while.
Well now I am about to sign off for the night because I am rather tired and I'm feeling like I will be busy the next several days with it being the small stretch of time when both Orion and Davis are here. I'll make a quote post right after this one, but until next monday, have a good remainder of your breaks.

Winter Break 09-010 Part 1
Howdy all. Hopefully everyone is having a satisfactory break thus far, I know I have. If you're wondering about the title, there will be 3 parts to this post: The first part of break, Christmas related family happenings (post coming on Monday), and the end of break (post coming January 4th). In other news, I noticed on the way to this post that I have recieved 2,000 views of my profile. It's probably not terribly interesting to anyone else because about 1,999 of those are probably mine as I get to the blogger dashboard through my profile (yes I know there is a much easier way). Well, enough dilly dallying, how about I get into the post now?
Oh, first of all, if you haven't yet, check out the Shorewood Lip Dub Video. It's pretty cool and Kathryn is in it in the 600's on the right side of the screen.
Thursday:
I spent most of the day doing some 360 before eventually signing on and getting my Starcraft on with Davis and Steven and Keir. Well, that was the plan at least. We tried very hard but couldn't really get anything going due to Davis having a bad CD key (or some related problem, I can't really remember) and Keir's computer repeatedly crashing. It was just like the old days though, Davis had problems with simple issues, I had trouble with complex issues, Keir couldn't add anything to the conversation because his computer was crashing, and Steven was yelling at all of us for being noobs but not being heard because he didn't realize his microphone was on mute (yes this is actually how we used to be (funny how little things change huh?)). Speaking of which, I realized the one game we did get in was the first time the 4 of us had played togther since high school. Davis didn't seem too interested, but Keir and I were disappointed because unlike Davis and Steven, we realized how little we've done with our lives. After failing to get SC going for multiple games, Davis, Steven, and I went over to play some Counterstrike which was actually really fun. It had been a while since I had played and it was good to get back mainly because the people we played with weren't total assholes.
Friday:
I didn't get much done because I was trying to rest up before the big band dance. I got there right on time and we had a little bit to warm up before we went on. One of our trombone players couldn't make it, so Dave Reid himself sat in. We also had our lead sax from last year filling in for our exchange student. Considering 2 of us had never rehearsed with us and the rest of us hadn't played together in 2 weeks, we sounded pretty good. Afterwards, I delivered my SC CD to Davis and left because I did not want to join in the "clusterfuck of high school drama." (as it was so adequately put by Davis).
Saturday:
I started my last Mass Effect playthrough before the sequel comes out. I want to get the save file right so that I can have it carry over to the next game (I have to redo it because I don't know how extensively it ties over, but it's hinted that it is quite extensively (sorry about that sentence)). Later in the day, Davis called to remind me that Maddy's party was in an hour or so. We arrived at her house at the exact same time (due to excellent timing on both our parts) and walked in together, minimizing awkward loneliness (particularly for me). Most of the time, we talked to Rosa and Tracy and Sam since everyone else was too drunk/busy doing random things. We had a rather intellectual conversation that I guess offended some people at the party? Perhaps I took what I was told the wrong way, but I enjoyed the conversation nevertheless and after the gift exchange in which Davis acquired his child porn book (ask him to show you sometime!), we left with Tracy and Rosa (oh and Lucy had shown up by this point in time (sorry for almost forgetting you there :/)) and Lucy for bubble tea. Davis did not have bubble tea (shocker, I know!) so I was not so lonely in not getting any. The 5 of us sat and talked about random stuff until closing time. It was pretty cool to get to see particularly the girls because I hadn't seen them in a really long time and it was cool to see Davis and all too, but I see him way more often and I will see him quite soon as well. After that, Davis dropped me off at my house and I played some ICCup with Steven and then signed off for the night.
Sunday:
I went to the Seahawks game with grandpa. It was simply embarassing, that's all I can really say since nobody really cares about football I think. After that, we brought grandpa back for dinner at our house, then dropped him back off at his place and I picked up the truck while I was there.
Monday:
I went to lunch with grandpa at Costco, then we ran some errands. One of the errands involved going to the Comcast store to get some DTV converter boxes. As I pulled into the store, I noticed a car similar to Steven's. As I pulled closer, I recognized the license plate and I pulled up alongside it and sure enough, it was Steven. It was more exciting randomly running into him irl than the time I randomly ran into him in Guild Wars. When I came home, I got on CS with Davis for a bit since Keir mysteriously disappeared. After that, I vanquished an area in Guild Wars with Steven.
Tuesday:
We met my dad for lunch downtown. We went to the Secret Deli (Orion may remember when I referenced this, but I may have called it the Logan Deli at the time). Anyway, the lady there surprisingly was able to remember us even though we hadn't been there in 5 years at least. She commented on my facial hair of course, looking at my parents and gesturing at her chin while doing the korean SC announcer (OHHHH) sound (cool people will know that sound). It was cool that she remembered us and the food was good as always. After that, we were going to look at the gingerbread houses, but the line was too crazy so we bailed and then we headed back home.
Wednesday:
I hung around the house most of the day wrapping presents (in my own terribly done fashion) and playin Mass Effect. Later on, I did wind up singing on for some SC with Keir on ICCup. We got a Malaysian win, but not much excitement beyond that. We could have gotten an Italian win, but he didn't stay in the lobby.
Today:
Will be included in the next post. In the meantime, read my next section.
Amorous Affairs:
Well it seems to be the popular thing to do nowadays. Unfortunately, I have none. Until the next post, peace out.

Short week, short post
Above is a picture I made for the Sacred Order of Teriyaki. I like it a lot better than the other ones I have created. I figured I would update today for no particular reason other than that I am currently without something to do and I figured this would tide me over for about half an hour while I decide so here goes nothing.
Friday:
After doing some DnD stuff online with Davis, I started my Rome: Total War Marathon.
Saturday:
Too many hours to count later and well into the night, a sleep deprived David sat at his computer screen desperately throwing armies at Rome in the hopes that he could kill it before too many of his towns revolted. Fortunately, I made it and then went upstairs and got some much needed sleep. I won't play as Carthage again because they have some pretty suck units. While I was sleeping, I had a strangely vivid dream about this class that I had been skipping or something and the professor was assigning a group project and I paired up with this somewhat cute girl and we hit it off and then the dream abruptly ended when the cat jumped on me. I spent most of Saturday doing some cleaning of the garage because my grandma was coming which meant we would soon need space for 5 cars. After that, I did manage to get on ICCup with Keir and we got a win against Denmark which was cool. We only had time for two games so we talked about random Starcraft related things until he had to leave.
Sunday:
I did some quick ICCup with Keir in the morning, but then I had to go clean some more really quick before my grandma arrived. When she got there, I parked her car in the garage, the first time I have ever parked a car in our garage because it has been full of junk since before I got my license. The last time there was a car in our garage, I was in middle school and it only lasted about a week and a half before we could no longer get it in (TWSS!!!(I had to come back and add this later when I noticed it)). Later in the day, I was going to make a status update for facebook "There should be a ctrl+F for real life" because I had been looking all over the place for somethign and that thought popped into my head. When I signed onto facebook though, Rachel had already just posted a very similar status to that, so while it was odd we were thinking alike at the same time, I lost my chance to have a witty and original status update That night, I had probably a continuation of the dream from earlier in which I was on a date with the girl but it was not as vivid and was much shorter. We were having dinner and I remember hardly any details.
Monday:
Mom had to work even though it was her birthday so I did some gaming downstairs and grandma made a cake. Eventually, mom returned and took grandma shopping while I continued to game. Davis had bought CS:S the day before so I decided I would get back into it before he started so I wasn't a total noob. I managed to get on with Steven and we played for a few hours before I had to leave for mom's birthday dinner.
Tuesday:
Davis came over and we finished up my new DnD character. It looks like it will be pretty cool and I can't wait to cast TREE SHAPE OMG!!1111 After that, we played a lot of GoW, but didn't finish before he had to leave. He did get to hear the terran theme though and he seemed to like it. He said he liked it a lot more than he thought he would (darn insults in disguise!). There are the obvious edits, but he said some of the stuff I thought sounded bad sounded good. It was also nice to have my theory corrected because I don't have a very strong theory background and I don't generally know what notes are "artsy" and which are just straight up wrong. So the finale of my dream series (or is it???) came last night in which I was in the class again. I didn't notice the girl there, but perhaps I wasn't looking hard enough. Anyway the final was going on and I was preoccupied with that. I don't know what significance this had, but as far as the other two parts of the dream go, I must say hopefully dreams do come true. Girlfriend status having would be pretty pwnage.
Today:
I haven't done much today, but it looks like Shorewood Ultimate has a team this year after being uncertain about interest. It's going to be a good quarter now. I have 21 credits (15 is normal). On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I'll have a class then I'll work out for an hour then go to practice and it will be pretty good. Hopefully I can get fit or perhaps even a 6pack by summer.
Ok well that's it for now, peace out until later.

Breaking for Winter
Well sorry about not posting when I said I would. After I posted that, Steven reminded me the final was actually earlier today instead of Tuesday when I thought it was. I decided I would not post anything because nobody would notice/care. Apparently I was right, so that was cool I guess, but seriously, do feel free to comment *Cough cough*. So now it's winter break, that is pretty cool. Tonight, I'm going to start my campaign in one sitting of Rome: Total War. I wanted to play it this past summer, but I thought of it too soon before school started, so I decided I would do it after the quarter ended. I'm going to play as Carthage because I'm hardcore (but not hardcore enough to win with Britannia or Gaul). So I'll be doing that probably right up until about when Davis gets here or maybe it will end the day before. Enough about all that though, time to get to the past week plus couple days.
Monday:
Band was not fun again because I had been practicing trumpet prior to going so my chops were pretty thoroughly pwned by the end of the class.
Tuesday:
It was finally December. I skipped psych as usual and used my extra hour (well not all of it) to shave off my creepy novembeard. It was much better to get rid of the itchy beard and to trim back my regular facial hair a bit. In Jazz Band, we had our last official rehearsal before the concert. I decided to play on my trumpet to not screw myself up for the concert the next day. After school, I came home and did a bunch of homework.
Wednesday:
I took my trumpet with me to French since we were meeting in the theatre right by my class. I was hoping Doug wouldn't make me get my french horn too, but he did. I met up with the girl that stands next to me when I got to the music building and we walked back together. Along the way she casually mentioned her boyfriend (but not whether he was an ex or not). I guess my refusal to wear anything other than shorts reminded her of his refusal to wear anything but converse (and he is a ski instructor so he wears them on the mountains). Actually, he sounded pretty cool, hopefully he's just a friend that is a boy. Anyway, we were the last back to the theatre and Doug then announced we couldn't play since there was a class going on outside. I considered jumping through the whole band to shake him for making me get my french horn. After that, I stuck around with Steve (section leader) and Mike (the cool guy I stood next to last year) and we sat in the pub for the remainder of the scheduled class time since Steve had class afterwards and Mike always eats lunch there and we just bullshitted about stuff for an hour. That night, we had the concert. Ballard HS was the opening band. Even though it's only been a couple of years, I still find it really strange to see a band in which nobody has facial hair. We played our set alternating songs with FunknGroove, which is a really cool band that plays good rock songs and they're fun to listen to. It turned out to be a pretty good show, so I was happy with that.
Thursday:
We had the day off in Jazz Band, so I met Grandpa at costco for lunch. After that, we ran some errands and then went back to his place where I hung a couple of pictures, then headed out since I needed to study for my 2 tests the next day.
Friday:
I actually had to go to psych which kind of sucked. I hate taking tests in that class because the two that sit on either side of me both smoke and they both come from not having a class (which they both apparently use to have a smoke break). I endure though and fortunately I finish the tests rather quickly. After that, I started studying for French and then took the final for it. It wasn't particularly hard, but it was not as easy as the last 3 had been, mostly because the other tests happened every week and this chapter had taken us a whole month, so lots of time to forget everything we had learned. After that, we had a casual rehearsal in Jazz Band. Doug gave us a folder full of Sammy Nestico tunes and asked what any of us wanted to play. I spotted "I've Been Working on the Railroad" and called it out, so we got to play it. I thought it was jazzy and cool and so did pretty much just Steve and Mike. Everyone else didn't like it and afterwards, Doug said "Geez, who the hell called this one up?" and everyone pointed at me. We played some more songs, but they were rather difficult especially for sight reading, but as always, it was good sight reading practice.
After school, we had a concert for the concert band. It was up in Arlington and I was carpooling with Darren and Erik. We were told the other band was going to play for an hour and a half and our set was 40 minutes. I was not excited to go. When we got there, we found out we played first and that the song we were supposed to play together at the end was optional. Suddenly, I was really glad we had driven instead of taking the big bus which half the band took. After our set, a bunch of us students lagged around in the warmup room while the older people and important people went in to the concert so we could all sneak off. I wouldn't have left because I wanted to earn favor with Ken, but the other 3 were leaving, so I figured the extra support was not worth it. I was right because they actually played much longer than an hour and a half. Before we left though, Kezia discovered 2 lightsabers and Erik and I had a duel. I also overheard a conversation that made me rather confused and I won't really elaborate becasuse I don't know the context of what I heard. There was a flute player there and he needed a ride back, so I gave him a ride since I had a seat leftover. On the way back, we got to stop at Wendy's because Erik was hungry and in the mood for paying for food, so that was perfectly all right with me. I only had a frosty though because I needed something I could nom quickly.
Saturday:
I spent most of the day doing some gaming on the 360 which was fine by me because it was really cold outside and I had no good reason to be out in it.
Sunday:
More of the same. I got some starcraft in with Steven and that was pretty fun although he got mad at me at one point and signed off. That night we had dinner with grandpa and watched Sunday night football, which was fun because I pulled out some good points in that game.
Monday:
The only thing I had going on was band. Before that, Steven and I played some starcraft. Band went okay and we even got out a bit early.
Tuesday:
I was thinking originally that this would be the last day of the quarter for me, but it was not. I only had the concert that night. It was pretty boring, but it was over quickly enough.
Wednesday:
I spent the day doing some gaming, then making my DnD character. About 3 hours before I was going to go to bed, I remembered I had a psych final the next day. 2 hours later, I remembered I had remembered that 2 hours ago and began to cram a bit before giving up and going to bed.
Today:
The final was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be. I did it in 25 minutes (we had 2 hours) and I think the professor was a bit mad that I finished it so quickly, but I was tired and knew the answers right away so I just headed out when I was done. I got back before when I normally would have woken up on my day off. I played some 360 until about 11:30 when I went to pick up grandpa. We had lunch at Costco then ran an errand to get some pills at Bartells, then came back to his place. Amy was there and it was nice to see her again since I hadn't seen her in a pretty long time since during the quarter, I tend to show up later in the day after she has left. I hung up some more pictures and did some other maintenence, then headed out. Now I'm getting ready to start my marathon of Rome: Total War. Actually, it might be best to do it starting next morning so that I don't play through two cold nights and since I'm kind of tired now from waking up so early today for that final. I guess I'll see how I feel after Thursday night football. Until later, peace out.

Hi, I know that usually Mondays are days when I would make a post about the week, but I have 2 finals tomorrow and while I'm not particularly worried about them, I'd rather just make the post after they're done. In the meantime, here are some good quotes.
*During a break in our Jazz performance*
Chelsea: Uh oh, I kinda gotta pee. I wonder if Doug will let us go.
Steve: Yeah I gotta go too, but I don't want to ask him for permission because I know he's just going to say no.
Me: Fine, I'll ask him.
Me: Hey Doug, we got a couple here that have to tinkle, can they go?
Doug: Oh, just use your mutes or something.
*Rehearsing a song in class*
*Fire alarm sounds*
Doug: Keep playing, we're nailin' this part!
Guest Player: I actually just got back from a couple gigs in London.
Doug: Oh yeah, you mean THE London, huh? Not like London, Texas; London, France!
*Awkward looks between me and the guitarists and bassists*
Steve: Don't worry, I'm hoping he's joking.
*Dad on the phone with a guy at Little Ceasars*
Dad: What? 5 bucks? That's it? Well damn, I might as well get two.
Dad: Actually, hold on a second.
Me: What's up with it?
Dad: Well it only costs 5 bucks so we can get enough for leftovers.
Kathryn: Are we gettting a lot of pizza or something?
Dad: No, we're getting a shitload of pizza!
O: the nice thing about your 21 being last and in the summer
is that we might all be around for it
me: yeah
O: it'll be pwnage
me: indeed
O: we'll go to 21 different bars
jk there's not enuf bars for that
we'll just go to sugars and spend 21 hours there
with 21 strippers
me: yeah!
me: uh oh i see what's happening
davis is becoming a hippie
he's going to show up in tattered rags with a waterpipe
and suddenly all our DnD adventures will no longer include fighting
because that's what the man wants us to do
instead, our PCs will go to poetry readings and have jam sessions
O: you'll have to switch that perform skill to poetry
me: haha
well ill have to make it
im dead remember...
which reminds me i still need to make the new character
O: oh yeah
me: and find YET ANOTHER way to tie into you guys
O: you should get perform poetry just in case
just a couple points
me: well as it happens i was going to make my character a total hippie anyway
so sure
Davis: and I love the convo where you 2 decide whether to deride me or not
it was fucking hilarious
me: you said that yesterday but thanks again
it was good times
i posted the pic of it showing how close we were to each other
*Davis updates facebook status to "...every time I think something good is going to happen, Fortune takes me for a ride and turns it all around. I hate this so much."*
*I comment with "It'll all be ok man. Remember Jesus is with you in all that you do."*
me: i commented on your new status
Davis: oh you ass
me: hopefully adding to the quality
Davis: that was a good one
me: hahaha
Davis: I'm laughing like a morn right now
me: morn?
Davis: moron
me: ah
Davis: yeh
me: haha
Steven and I on psychology and Freud:
me: there's something intimidating about staring down 39 study questions that you have no idea what the answers are
all with the thought looming in the back of your head that you also really need to study for your french final
Steven: haha
yeah I'm seeing going to lecture would have helped
me: yeah haha
oh well
Steven: why is there a picture of chris rock in the textbook?
me: haha
because he has a personality i guess
Steven: no way!
me too
me: really?
wow i wish i had one
Steven: haha
Steven: idk why anyone believed this shit
me: well he was born when they still tried witches
Steven: good times
me: "the female...acknowledges the fact of her castration, and with it, too, the superiority of the male and her own inferiority"
maybe this freud was on to something
Steven: haha
I told Ashley she has penis-envy
me: hey what do you see in the rorschach ink blotch on page 428?
Steven: hmm
do you remember the guy from the ninja turtles?
me: which one
Steven: the bad guy
me: oh yeah kind of
Steven: ummmm
yeah that
me: haha
Steven: what was his name...head of the foot clan
shredder
that's it
me: ah yeah i guess i can see that
Steven: like top middle looks like a helmet to me
me: at first, i was all "who the shell are you talking about"
Steven: and then two arms out stretched
hahaha
with like two legs and then a giant two sided cock
me: oh so that's what that is
Steven: that kinda looks like a mushroom
me: its his ovaries
Steven: and then bladed armor up and down the sides
haha oh ok
me: so he's secondary prof as a sin?
Steven: hmm yeah I would say D/A
me: awesome
Steven: so what do you see?
me: a stormtrooper wearing bunny ears
Steven: nice
hmm
Ashley sees a demon mask
me: lllllaaammmeeee
Steven: demonic symbols are normal right?
me: yeah i think so
Steven: ok good
me: probably more well adjusted than us
Davis: oh you still need to make your druid
it shall be level 4 because I don't want to have to balance encounters strangely to accomodate 5,5,5,3
me: yes
ok thank you
Davis: lol not for you
it's for me
!!
me: well as self serving as it was
it was a mutually agreeable outcome
Davis: yes
try to let this one live at least 2 sessions, aight?
me: hahaha
no strange buildings
lastredcoat: mmmm
lady bowlers on ESPN
hello erection
lastredcoat: there is alot more homosexual subtext in Lord of the Rings than I remember

Fair warning, this is going to be a lot of quotes. If it gets ridiculously long, I'll cut if off and post the rest tomorrow or something. Pictures are coming eventually, I'll even get some up today hopefully. Until then, feel free to read the post below if you haven't and here are the quotes.
My uncle and I regarding the ridiculous amount of food we brought to Sunriver:
My Uncle: Happy Thanksgiving!
Me: Uh oh, my calendar must be broken. I have the day before Thanksgiving. Oh well, happy Thanksgiving to you as well!
My Uncle: Settle down. Are you all on the road?
Me: No we're waiting for mom to finish shopping
My Uncle: Right, get some butter.
Me: I think we have 3 pounds, I'll have them pick up more just to be safe.
My Uncle: Yes. Good leadership.
Perhaps 7lbs and get some pepper too.
Me: I think we also need more pizza. We only have 6. I'm concerned we might starve.
Are you guys there already?
My Uncle: In Bend. Shopping for butter. Need more pizza too - you are right. Will pick up 5-6 and 12-14 chickens. Also, we only have 3 scuba tanks and 2 sets of crutches. Will that be ok?
Me: Might need more crutches just to be safe. Bring toilet paper too, we only have about 16 rolls worth. Running low on bread too, grandma was penny pinching and only bought us 6 bags.
My Uncle: Are you by a Cinnabon? We could suplement with those. Probably 7-8 dozen would be fine. We're at petsmart getting a kitten. Should we get the yellow or the pink collar.
Me: We all agree here that the color doesn't matter. It's the flavor that's important.
My Uncle: Your collective wisdom is awe-inspiring.
me: wow
next monday
zz top concert with spike and the impalers opening for them
cant go to that
also texans on monday night football
cant watch that
damn you band!
O: ouch
me: just watch, some girl will talk to me later in this week about how much she wants to have sex with me but next monday night is the only night that works for her
but i can't skip because i have to turn in a form that will hopefully get me to reno
O: you would give up sex for that?!
me: well reno=rachel
O: true and if you really wanted to have sex, reno would be the place to make it happen
me: indeed
O: rachel + hookers
me: haha
no dude
rachel plus this other chick!
that would be so epic
i would definitely have to text you that picture if that happened
with the caption "lolololololololololol(x2!!)"
O: hahaha
you would be perma winner
of everything
me: well
except for loss of virginity
i would have lost that
but still the other stuff would make up for it and then some
O: even if you peed your pants in public, we would still hold you in high regard
me: hahahaha
don't know whether to feel good about that or to be insulted that of all the possible embarassing things that could happen to me, you chose peeing my pants
O: well i was just trying to think of something real embarrassing
me: oh
O: it's not like i actually think that that embarrassing scenario would be more likely than others
me: ok that's reassuring
O: i have faith in your bladder control
me: yeah!
you're right, im the least likely to pee my pants
so its not like i was secretly voted most likely to pee his pants
O: yeah
they actually put that on that one page in the yearbook
in invisible ink
me: oh i'll have to check that out
Davis: I forogt that you're leaving me all alone
me: i know
Davis: no david and no orion
only stashley
me: well im touched you listed me first before orion even
hopefully next year i'll be in town
cuz i hate wasting away the weekend with little to no internet
Davis: hahahaha
lolly
most ppl would say the other way around lolz
me: haha wow you're right
how backwards
of them!
Davis: lolz
and dammit
i will refer to women with alignments if I so choose
me: haha
it is actually helpful
Davis: yeah totally
me: just nerdy
Davis: it's not like I"m telling them
like by now I'm fucking honest about DnD and Pokemon and shit like that no use hiding it
me: yeah i figured u werent telling them
Davis: I don't want to waste time with a chick who doens't like that shit or can't handle it
BAM
Davis: that was awesome
me: talking to a girl?
Davis: yes
sadly
me: how was it awesome
did you play starcraft during it or something?
Davis: lol
no
she's just amazing in many ways
me: like amazing at counterstrike?
were you talking to her for the last 3 hours?
Davis: yes
me: wow
i don't know that ive ever had a conversation with a girl that long in my life
or probably with anyone
either 3 hours is a longer than normal conversation or that puts my life in a really depressing perspective
Davis: rofl
I think it's a longer than normal convo
I dont' want to talk to most ppl for 3 hours
most ppl around here, I'm good with like 5 or 10 minutes
me: haha
yeah i can relate to that
so might ye want to vanquish today?
Davis: mayhap
me: how fanciful of you
lastredcoat: micro is easy and fun
macro is hard an evilll
me: oh noes dont tell me that!
i have yet to take it and my major is economics!
its like im about to have sex with this chick and you go "oh watch out for her herpes!"
lastredcoat: its like im in the process of fucking her now too
and you have to fuck her later
because of arrainged marraiges in india
me: it doesnt sound like youre fucking her
sounds like she's fucking you
lastredcoat: oh im having sex with her
me: haha
lastredcoat: and you will have my sloppy seconds
me: haha
lastredcoat: she just kinda lies there motionless
and has herpes
me: wow
so what do i get?
lastredcoat: so its a lot of hard work
for no real gain
me: well damn
lastredcoat: i think i just ruined sex for the both of us
me: yes, yes you did
now i'm afraid of economics AND vaginas!
thanks a lot!
Talking about the "how have you changed" part of my college essay:
lastredcoat: ooo
how have you changed?
me: yep
it was an odd question to get
caught me off guard
lastredcoat: how have you changed?
me: oh i manage my time better now
a lot better
lastredcoat: only cus i dont have a computor that plays SC
me: exactly haha
lastredcoat: otherwise....
me: but my gpa is .5 higher than in high school

"i have homeowrk"

O: yeah
they actually put that on that one page in the yearbook
in invisible ink
me: oh i'll have to check that out
Davis: I forogt that you're leaving me all alone

me: yeah i figured u werent telling them
Davis: I don't want to waste time with a chick who doens't like that shit or can't handle it
BAM
Davis: that was awesome
me: talking to a girl?
Davis: yes
sadly
me: how was it awesome

me: like amazing at counterstrike?
were you talking to her for the last 3 hours?
Davis: yes
me: wow
i don't know that ive ever had a conversation with a girl that long in my life
or probably with anyone
either 3 hours is a longer than normal conversation or that puts my life in a really depressing perspective
Davis: rofl
I think it's a longer than normal convo
I dont' want to talk to most ppl for 3 hours
most ppl around here, I'm good with like 5 or 10 minutes
me: haha
yeah i can relate to that
so might ye want to vanquish today?
Davis: mayhap
me: how fanciful of you
lastredcoat: micro is easy and fun

lastredcoat: i think i just ruined sex for the both of us

I can has hub status?
Howdy all, I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving Break. I'll get to mine eventually, but first I have some stuff to talk about in my intro (for once). I learned that my blog is not being used as hub status! This is surely a travesty as I would not want people to not think I updated since they are using a less frequently updated (but still interesting) blog. I guess there's not much I can do to get people to change to mine since we agreed not to run ads on our blog (which was my only real option). I guess to appeal to the female audience, I could say something nice about women like....um....that dress does make your butt look big, which is pretty awesome if you ask me. I mean, we all gotta like the butts we have, it's not like we were all born with a detachable ass... Anyway, if you don't use my blog as a hub, that's fine. If you do read my blog though, feel free to comment. It's not that I get tired of seeing the same 3 commenters all the time (I'm just happy to see comments), but I'm sure the girls can come up with witty things to say to my posts.
In other news, No-Shave November ends today. This was my first time fully participating since the days before I shaved. I decided that for some reason, this would be my last one because by this time next year, I would have a girlfriend telling me not to do it or at least maybe I will have had a girlfriend. Another few of reasons why I probably won't do it again are:
1. My facial hair grows too slowly
2. Apparently the only facial hair I can grow fairly quickly is a neckbeard. If you don't know what that is, just don't go google it. If you do know, take comfort in the fact that it shall soon be gone.
3. When you have facial hair year round, spending a month not trimming it and making it look good is just not very fun.
Ok well that was a pretty lengthy intro, so how about I get into the week now? It could get long, but hopefully I'll be able to keep it to a reasonable length for you.
Monday:
Well in band, only 4 people turned in their forms for the trip. After 2 hours of playing, we got to the song that our secondary conductor lead on, so Ken decided to do spontaneous tryouts for his list for that trip. Now this was horrible for me because I had been playing 1st horn parts for 2 straight hours and before that, I had come home that day and played jazz music until I had no chops in an attempt to build them up. All in all, it was not a good idea. As he pulled me out of the class, he had me pick a song. I frantically looked through our folders, but it was no use. The song that I could handle at this point was the one we were playing. He told me to just take Water Music Suite, which involves a lot of high/above staff notes. Of course, I sounded terrible in his office, but we'll see what happens. I'm competing against the girl that stands next to me in jazz band who only shows up for concerts or this turning in her form (she has another band she's in as well), the girl that shows up every day but takes a ton of bathroom breaks and texts in class, and Erik. While there is no guarantee that even the first person on Ken's list would make it into this band, I would still really feel better to be first, so hopefully I'll get to go, but it's currently up in the air until whenever the people have made their decision.
Tuesday:
I skipped psych again because I didn't want to go and then in French, we finally learned more about our projects (that we had previously only heard about once). We learned they were due the next week. Now my group had no idea what to do, so we kind of decided to do a powerpoint, but it was a fail idea because all three of us were not there on the same day that whole week so we'll see what happens. I wish we had gotten more notice on this project, especially since it's a 5 minute presentation done in only French (how in the hell do I know 5 minutes of French after 1 quarter? I can do some descriptions, but if it comes down to it, I'll wind up having to count the passing seconds in French I suppose).
After jazz band, we left for Vancouver. Kathryn really wanted to drive part of the way, so I decided since I drive to Vancouver every other time and since we would be pressed for time on the way back, she could drive to grandma's house. I was carsick the first half because she was so bad, but it got less terrible once she learned that the speed limit is not some magic barrier preventing the car from going faster than what is posted. We met my cousin and his wife (the one that got married in Alaska) and grandma at the Olive Garden. I consumed a lot of breadsticks and the waiter kept calling me "junior" for some reason. I have no idea why, I was taller, bigger, and had more facial hair from him. It was really strange.
Wednesday:
We left around noon and had a rather quick drive to Sunriver. I got to go really fast as it was a two lane road with nobody really slowing me down and no cops on the way. My cousin was driving grandma's new Camaro, so he got to go pretty fast as well, which I'm sure he enjoyed. The continuing joke was that we brought way too much food and my uncle and I had a pretty funny text conversation that I will include tomorrow in my quote post. For some reason, grandma picked up pizzas before we left so they had time to get messed up in the car since we didn't keep them refrigerated. When we got there, the oven was broken (turns out the oven breaks whenever someone self cleans it, but the owners continuously neglect to replace the oven). Remembering that I learned once we could barbecue pizzas from Papa Murphy's, I suggested that. It turned out terrible. The first one actually caught fire. We burnt the crust black on 3 pizzas, including the pepperoni one. One of them had the toppings scraped off and made into a kind of soup. With the pepperoni, we scraped off some toppings and put them on toast. It was actually pretty good. My cousin and I were disappointed though because it turned out grandma did not actually buy 2 pepperoni pizzas as she said she did, so we had ruined the only one. After that, we all just went to bed since it was late.
Thursday:
The oven guy came at 7:30am to fix the oven which was really cool. After that, I took a walk with mom and dad and later met up with my uncle and aunt who had gotten lost. I was glad to get some exercise in because I knew the rest of my day would be spent watching football then eating. We watched the first 2 games, but then in the lack of the nfl network, we had to resort to college football instead of the Giants vs. Broncos. The dinner was really good and we only used one of the turkeys that was brought (I don't know who thought 11 people could eat 2 turkeys and a ham (but as I said, the running joke was that we had way too much food)). After dinner, we decided to play Apples to Apples for some reason. My cousin's wife and I did terrible because as we decided "We're too cerebral for these people." After all of that, I went to bed after playing some Episode 1 Podracer on the N64 downstairs against dad. One of the controllers had a bad analog stick (mine) and dad's screen was missing the bottom portion due to a fucked up aspect ratio or something, so we both did pretty poorly and it evened the playing field some which was cool.
Friday:
It was the turkey trot day, a 3 mile run or walk. Considering the St. Patrick's day dash is about 3.5 miles, this one felt really short. I hope that this means I'm getting better at running even though I still took about half an hour on this one. Maybe it was also because due to the big openness of the area, I could see the entire course at all points on the race. After that, those 5 of us that did it (my cousin and his wife, my uncle, my dad, and I) came back and were going to go on a brewery tour later, but my uncle decided to stay. While the girls were out black friday shopping, we left for the tour. It was cool and much more informative about the beer making process than any other brewery tour I have been on (I've been on a lot in case you were wondering).
On our way back, the GPS in the car led us slightly off track and we got to talking about how we really wished we hadn't ruined the only pepperoni pizza we had. My cousin said "Ok that's it, if we see a Papa Murphy's we're stopping." No sooner did he finish that sentence than a Papa Murphy's appeared on the left side of the road. We stopped and went in and three angels made our pizza for us. They were actually pretty cute, but since they lived in Oregon and 8 hours from my house, I didn't get too flirty with them, but we all did stick around for a few extra minutes talking about nothing since it was obviously a slow day for them (everyone else must have been having leftovers, but not us because WE HAD PEPPERONI PIZZA SUCKAS!!!1). On the way back to the house, we debated whether to come in triumphantly carrying the pizza which would anger the people complaining that we were not eating all the food or whether to hide it. We decided since my grandma felt bad about forgetting the 2nd pepperoni pizza, we would sneak it in and put it at the bottom of the fridge. Soon enough, the girls came back from shopping and had bought us darts (there was a dartboard in the garage) so we started playing.
We played Cricket which is a cool darts game that we spent a lot of time doing. I learned I'm actually not bad at darts, which surprised me because I always thought it looked so hard. After about an hour of playing, my cousin came down and she told us they found a second pepperoni pizza. We all looked at each other pretending to be surprised, secretly happy the plan had worked. It was great pizza since we had gotten the oven fixed.
Saturday:
We decided it was time to get some sledding in, so we headed up to Mount Bachelor where we sledded last year. This year, there had been a lot of snow, so they weren't allowing sledding there and the kicked us off to some state park that's specialized for sledding. Dad got mad because he figured it would be some bunny hill, but he was wrong. It was actually a very crowded hill on the shady side of a mountain which meant it was still coated with ice, so the sledding was fast and dangerous. There was a good run on the side where you could get some good air. I sustained some good injuries from my wipeouts there which resulted in the crowd watching going "Ooh!" Falling off that sled and rolling on the snow/ice was like rolling along on pavement. It hurt. I cut up both my knees, scraped my right forearm bad and then did it on the next run, making it actually hurt. I also bruised my ass, left chest, neck and burned off some skin on my side. All in all, a fun day! After getting hurt like I did, for some reason I had the urge to go play some football. The more I thought about it, that actually seems like it would be really cool so who knows, maybe I'll make up for not joining the football team at shorewood my senior year (which I still kind of regret) and I'll go out for the football team at the UW if I get more in shape.
We left the sledding hill and I put some rubbing alcohol on my cuts, then drove home while letting the alcohol sink in for no reason other than to be manly I guess. I put on some neosporin when we got back though because that stuff is amazing. That night, we had Thanksgiving 2: Room for Dessert (our action thriller coming to a theater near you). It consisted of the other turkey and my uncle's special roast that Kathryn and I prepared. Basically, you take a roast, coat it in black pepper and garlic salt and then slow cook it on the barbecue. I know Orion doesn't like beef, but someday maybe I'll get the chance to cook it for you guys, it's pretty good. After dinner, more darts ensued.
Sunday:
We spent all but half an hour of the time between 10:00am and 6:00pm in the car, a very busy driving day. After I got home, I was freaking out about the project due the next day in French, but then I learned class was cancelled and I had an extra day. Now I have had time to email the guys in the group and figure out what we're doing (which I guess they had some time to figure out in my absence on Wednesday).
Today:
In jazz band, I got to try the section leader's black trumpet. It was pretty cool and tricky to play, but it was a really nice horn. I can't wait until winter break when I go trumpet hunting.
Ok well I'll make a quote post tomorrow. This post was really long and it's now taken me about 2 hours to write because I was doing some other things as well such as emailing my group back and forth about what was going on. Until later, peace out.

Monday, November 23, 2009
Whoa it's-a Monday, time-a for an up-a-date!
I think I'll give credit for that title to Mario. I was playing it a little this weekend for some reason. This last week was good because I finally figured out that I don't need to show up to psych every day and also since I got some good gaming (by myself unforunately) in. I leave tomorrow for Sunriver again, so that is unfortunate because I will once again not get to hang out with Davis during break, but then again, he returns in a couple of weeks anyway so it will work out. Someday also maybe Davis and Steven will be up for vanquishing again. I tried some discordway and it worked fairly well except for groups with multiple healers, but whatever. I'll just get going on the week now.
Monday:
I got the form from Ken in band and it looks like more than 5 people also took it (he can suggest a limit of 5). I don't want to get too cocky, but I think my chances of being in the top 5 are good [knock on wood there] and I really hope that either just I wind up going or just me and the girl and then epic threesome happens because as Orion put it, "you would be perma winner of everything." Enough about that though. The combination of my new mouthpiece (specialized for lower parts and stuff like that) and the high horn parts I'm playing (the guys in the section decided they wanted me to do all first parts this year) that band for the 2 hours straight we practice really kills my chops, but it's a good workout I suppose.
Tuesday:
I skipped psych because it was a lecture day. In French, we had a group workday and our group is doing a project on food, so we brought a lot of food. I tried a baby pickle and it was really sour and terrible (especially since I ate it in one bite) and even Foie Gras! I can see why people get it confused with cat food. There was other weird stuff there that we had all brought, but I won't go into detail with it because it is not very exciting. The cheese was good, but me and the pretty Dutch girl that sits in front of me agreed that Dutch cheese was far superior. After school, I did a lot of homework after first getting a much needed haircut. If it gets that long again, I might need to start tying it back.
Wednesday:
I skipped psych again because I knew there was again no real point to showing up. In French, we did not have a workday again, so no great feast, but when I got home, I didn't have much homework so I got some good skill hunting in. I actually heard from Steven for the first time that week during the hunting.
Thursday:
There was a psych test which I think I did adequately on. After that, there was no French (of course it had to be the day I had to show up for psych...). Fortunately, the room was left open so I was able to sit in it while I did my homework. More skill capping after school ensued.
Friday:
I had to show up to psych again to turn in my optional homework because I want to water down my test grades as much as I can, just in case. In French, we didn't get a lot done because we spent the whole class correcting homework. In Jazz Band, our lead saxophone player showed up to watch us play which was cool because I hadn't seen him since last year. After class, the lead trumpet player and I talked about my trumpet situation. I'm currently looking for a less basic beginner model. Also, recently I noticed that I've been buzzing when I use first valve and sustain a note. Since it started happening shortly after my new horn mouthpiece came, I figured I screwed up my embouchure somehow, but the guy thinks that perhaps my trumpet has a hole in it because he knew a guy with a similar problem. Well I kind of hope it's the hole actually because that will get me off my ass and looking at trumpets more. He's bringing in 2 this week for me to try out, so that's really nice of him. I tried one today and it was an Old Olds (Too Old). I thought it was okay, but I wonder what he's going to have me try tomorrow. Hopefully it helps me get an idea of what I want so I can shop around during winter break. After school, I came home and did homework, then got down to 5 elite skills.
Saturday:
Having 5 skills left to cap, I did that and then enjoyed my 2 new titles (elonian skill hunter and legendary skill hunter). I'm at 14 titles now. After that, I played some Fable until I beat that, then I was going to replay Assassin's Creed, but I remembered my cousin still has it, so I decided to play The Force Unleashed instead. So recently, we've been cleaning out the downstairs, leaving us a mess on the ground. We moved that big brown bookshelf in the back of the basement tv room into my computer room, so there was a mess all over the floor, which was nice because it prevented Kathryn and her friend from comandeering the downstairs at 10:00 and kicking me off the computer which is very inconvenient. Also, while we were cleaning, I decided that I have a lot of old xbox games that I have played through so many times I will most likely not do so again. I finally started using Goozex. I've already sent 2 games out (well I'm putting them in the mail today, the post office was closed until today). I think it will turn out to be pretty good for me and it will definitely save me money on newer games. I think I might get M:UA2 by this method.
Sunday:
I did some micro homework, then went to my aunt's house to move stuff to my grandpa's storage at his place. We then took him to dinner, then I brought him back and Kathryn and Dad headed home.
Today:
I skipped psych to do micro homework because I won't get time to do it tomorrow. In Jazz Band, I got to try the trumpet the guy brought in and it was okay. Doug set us up backwards for some reason and I played badly because I was so confused by that the whole time. Now I've got more homework to do, then band later tonight, then school then I leave tomorrow. I hope everyone that got to go to the Spike and The Impalers/ZZ Top concert tonight enjoys it, I wish I could go. I also will miss getting to actually watch the Texans play tonight, but that's the cost of possibly getting to go visit Rachel I suppose. I hope the Texans game is really boring and uneventful, but only because I don't want Orion and Eric to get a lot of fantasy points off the game because I really need to start pulling out some wins since I'm so far behind.
I probably won't have internet this weekend, but if I do, I'll maybe get online and talk. I won't be able to play any videogames. Ok well peace out until next week.

On Fantasy Football:
Me:damn at least the seahawks are winning
but still i would rather be getting fantasy points here
O: i like how eric didnt even try and get another defense for this week
Me: yeah haha
im glad for that
it might close the field a bit
if i can make up the 50 point gap i currently have going
i dont think he was busy even
i mean his classes are monday and wednesday only
and he had wednesday off so....
O: yeah haha
oh well im fine with that
Me: same
of course i think chris johnson sure made up for the lack of his defense
35 points damn!
O: seriously
Me: i was wondering how tony romo has 91 yards but less than 1 point
3 sacks
aw nuts arizona touchdown
but not larry
now its 14-7
we gotta score more so that there's buffering room for larry to get some touchdowns
O: haha
the beauty of fantasy football
making you wish for specific and strange outcomes so that you can get hella points but still have your favorite team win
Me: haha
Me: YES
larry fitzgerald catches a throw
then a teammate commits a personal foul
so he made a good catch and still a loss of yards!
hooray for the absurd things i hope for!
Why tuba players are cool:
Euphonium Player (dickishly): Well are WE the only one's here with pianissimo?
Tuba Player: Yes.....Yes you are.
Me: a girl in my french class was wearing a shirt today that had four big hearts on it and one was only half full
and under it, it said "Hyrule four play"
Davis: OMFG
GET HER NUMBER
GIVE IT TO MEEEEEEE
Me: you don't want me to do that, trust me
but i thought you would appreciate the shirt
Davis: is she crazy?
Me: i dont think so she's um
she's not very hot
but i told her her shirt was cool
because i knew you would have said something
Davis: well I can work with sane
and not hot
Me: haha
Davis: i can work with that
crazxy
there's no fucking chance in hell
Me: i have to be careful too
you have a much lower threshold for crazy
but it leads to funny stories
like the crazy religious girl
Davis: yeah
I talked to her again today
she is so hot
Me: she isn't your new cleric is she?
Davis: no
that would be awesome though
Pretty sure she wouldn't choose evil
actually I think she might play
i was talking about starting an honors group with some of the guys
it would be sweet
Me: idk
she wouldn't dig the whole false idols thing
i can see the conversation now
"which deity do you support here"
"uh, can i just go with god?"
"no"
"but-"
"no"
Davis: actually I would definitely let her go with God
if it was the difference bewteen playing and no playing
yes I don't give a shit
God is fine with me
Me: : O
Davis: all the "spells" can be like, "Extra Bread IV and shit like that
Me: hahaha
Davis: "King of the Jews"
you assume the aspect of Jesus for 2d4 rounds
Me: "everlasting oil" lamps last 50% longer or until more oil arrives
meh i liked yours better
what's jesus' hp?
Davis: umm
he has 999 hit dice
and they're d20s
999 AC
Me: haha
Davis:as a melee touch attack, he can convert any evil or neutral creature to Christinaity
Me: haha
so jesus is basically a really roxorz paladin?
Davis: yeah
Me: he must also have high alchemy skill too
he can turn water into wine and stuff
and when the effect ends and jesus leaves, he splits up into nice little wafers and wine that feeds your party for several thousand years once every week
Davis: yeah
lolol
also he can cast True Ressurection at first level
except that he starts play at 40th level
he saves at a +1000 bonus
Me: haha
Davis: yeah good stuff
I need to do homework now
we can finish this later
Me: i'll have to add this to my quotes post tomorrow too
Davis: we'll have to make a sheet for him
Me: indeed

that would be funny if davis goes out with her
cuz we could brag about how we've already seen her naked
lastredcoat: but he could brag that his penis ahs been inside her : (
and that he makes her dress up like pokemon for it
Me: haha
you know i think that would have a limit to how many times it would still be cool for
after like 3 years it would be "guys she won't stop dressing as mudkip when we have sex" "i'm beginning to think ill never see her really naked"
lastredcoat: although he can still see the ears
Me: psh
you can see someone's ears when they're fully clothed
lastredcoat: you dont read enough
ears are the most like vagina of any part of a female body that isnt the vagina

I have made a mistake
Which I will get to later! First I must go through the week. Last week was pretty good, but the weekend went by really fast which is too bad. Hopefully this coming weekend shall be a bit slower. I did enjoy the pwnage football day yesterday though specifically the Colts last minute stomping of the Patriots (I just like seeing Belichick and Brady fail). In other news (a shoutout to Orion here), this weekend, my grandpa's place was having an outing to go up to Chuckanut Drive which we drove by on our way to and from the Bioshock event this past August. Ok now that the shoutout has been completed, I shall commence talking about the week.
Monday:
In band, Ken told us that this honor band thing was definitely on (school pays for travel, accommodations, and food!). How it works is it's a community college type thing for community colleges in Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, and Utah (possibly Arizona too). Anyway, the turnout must be really low for this because each conductor gets 5 selections. There are set spots for each instrument in the band (they will take X number of trumpets, X number of flutes, etc.) Anyway, I'm pretty sure that when I sign up, I will be first on Ken's list because he told me he really thought I should do it. So provided that works out (I sign up tonight), I will get to go see Rachel. Now the problem is other people in the band (ones that might want to hang out/tag along with me while there) showed interest in this as well so I can only hope that their instruments are not needed or that Ken does not come up with some picking strategy to ensure they also attend while still making sure I do. I also made the foolish mistake of blurting it out in conversation with the girl that stands next to me today. I was just making light conversation and I inadvertently piqued her curiosity and now she wants to do that. She's cool and all, but this trip was about going to see Rachel, so to be slightly mean here, I hope she doesn't make it (otherwise it will be awkward for me to hang out with both her and Rachel at the same time (hmm, actually this has really awesome potential now that I think about it)). Anyway, more on that to come next week.
Tuesday:
I was super psyched (coincidently, I skipped psych) for the midweekend. I only showed up to my second two classes and they were rather uneventful. In Jazz Band, we did some strange sectionals and our section + Darren (he had nobody else in his section that day and he had similar parts to us) got to go to the dungeon (a cool room downstairs that is not well soundproofed and thus makes the teachers down there angry (but it's not our fault, it's the music building, stop teaching a speech class there!)). After that, I came home and finished the Terran Theme. There's still a part I want to tweak though when I get the time. Also, I need to find a program that records audio and video. I have one now but I don't know if it works right because I don't know how to use it.
Wednesday:
I got up at 9 to go to a Boy Scout thing at 10. I promised Red I would because I was intrigued at the thought of a Boy Scout event starting after 7 or 8 am. It was a dedication of a memorial at the UW, so I got to march in a parade. I was even on the 10:00 news that night walking by the camera. It was pretty lame and it took so long that dad and I just bailed early. After that, I spent the rest of the afternoon just doing homework.
Thursday:
I made the mistake of coming to psych and being there alone. It was a really boring day after that. In Jazz Band, since the girl that stands next to me was gone (someday I'll actually start referring to her by her real name), the four of us guys pwned up some songs. Doug liked how we were sounding and in typical trumpet section fashion, we attributed it to her absence. That's the reason I like to show up every day, haha.
Friday:
I met my grandpa at Costco for lunch, then I took him back to my aunt's house so that he could sit and see the cats (all your base are belong to us!) while I moved some boxes in from the pod containing mostly books. After that was done, I took grandpa back to his place then went over to the mall to meet Sai. We got Arceus together so that we wouldn't be really awkward/pedophiley looking. Unforunately some bearded guy was working the gaming section, not that mythical 919 with the glasses. I'm starting to wonder if she's just a figment of my imagination, though I don't have reason to believe she doesn't exist because that was the first time I had been to Toys R Us since I had seen her. After that, Sai decided to come back here so we could take my Micro exam together since I already knew all the answers and for some reason we thought it would be entertaining. After that, we played some Contra, then he had to head back home.
Saturday:
Kathryn and I took the train to my grandma's house down in Vancouver. She had bought a new Camaro and no longer needed her old Monte Carlo, so she was giving it to us since the Breeze is slowly dying and mom will need a car. Anyway, the train ride was uneventful. She let me drive the Camaro and it was pretty awesome. Not Mustang awesome, but general muscle/sports car awesome. We went to see the men who stare at goats. It was pretty good, but I can see why it got panned.
Sunday:
We drove back from there and I made pretty good time since I was in a relatively fast car and since it was rainy and the middle of the month meaning there were very few cops out on patrol. After we got back, I had football on while I did homework and I enjoyed watching Bill Belicheat and Shady Brady fail.
Monday:
I came to psych alone again which was unfortunate, but less so than Thursday because I had to turn in something anyway. After that, it was a group project workday in French. Well we thought it was at least, she changed her mind so all the food we brought had to just sit there for the class. Then in Jazz Band I accidentally spilled the beans about the honor band thing. If she winds up going, I am really going to hope for an epic threesome. If not, oh well, I don't feel bad about ditching Eric and Darren for Rachel. Quote post tomorrow and then until next week, peace out.
Saturday:

This week was busier so hopefully the post will be more interesting
Well this week was certainly more eventful than the past couple of weeks have been. Perhaps I shall actually have a post this time that deserves some comments. I'll also be making a quote post tomorrow, so check that out too I guess.
Monday:
We had band and it was our last regular rehearsal before the concert, so we were wrapping things up. I finally got to try out my new mouthpiece and it was really good for most of the songs, but there were some screechy high parts that it didn't help on so I used my older one for those during the practice and during the concert as well.
Tuesday:
After school got out, Steven, Chris, and I decided to go look for Sai. Eventually, he and Danny McCoy snuck up and ninjaed us. It was cool to see Danny again and it was cool that we didn't have to awkwardly exclude him because he left on his own. After that, Sai and I picked up some cake supplies and went home to make the cake. See the post below for quotes and things about it. During the cake baking process, we played some Halo and some Left for Dead 2 demo. I liked it, but I still think that there's no way I'll buy the game for the price they want because I would only play the campaign anyway. Around 6, Ahmad, Ben, and Ashley came by and Stashley formed and left. Then Sai helped Ahmad and Ben on programming homework for an hour or so then they left after Sai got an email from his brother saying he should probably call home (he must have been in trouble for staying out so late without warning).
Wednesday:
We had the second day of our movie in French. It was actually a really good movie. The teacher even decided to postpone our test back yet another day from now Thursday and Friday to Friday and Monday. After school, I did some quick studying, then I had to go to frisbee. Fortunately since I was busy, only 2 people showed up so we had a quick throwing practice then just called it a day since 2 people don't really make for a good practice. I studied a bit more, then had to go off to SCC at 5:00 because I promised to help the drums load and move their equipment.
I met Kezia and Dan and a couple of other people there. Ken took us all out for Taco Bell since we were all feeling like it and he even paid for it which was really nice of him. After we got back, we loaded the truck. Dan decided to carpool there with me since I had to come back by SCC anyway. On our way out, one of the other drummers was backing out of his space and accidentally came way too far. He wound up being the first victim of the army hitch. On one hand, he didn't deserve it because he's cool and he's a pretty nice guy, but on the other hand, damn the army hitch really pwned his bumper. The dent was a lot bigger than I thought it would have been. Anyway, that was rather funny and Dan and I laughed about it all the way to the concert hall. The dress rehearsal went well and then I came home to study a bit more before going to bed.
Thursday:
We had our psych test. Each psych test, I always study one thing more than I should and it never comes up. This time, it actually did. I was quite happy. I wound up doing the exact same as I did on my first test though, so whomp whomp. I got my first assignment back and I thought I got 2 points for turning it in early, but it was only 1 so I'm debating whether to do that with the next one. It's due next Monday, so I might want to get started on it here soon if I plan to. In French, we finished up the movie, but I had to leave early to set up for the jazz band concert in the pub. We sounded as good as you can for performing in what is essentially just a giant cube. It sounded like hell, but we kind of made it work. That night, we had the concert. It went pretty well because I was able to hang out with the girl trumpeter that I stand next to in jazz band for a while and then Dan right before we went to set up. The concert went well and I got home to study for some French. Then I realized that I had forgotten to do the homework for the next day, so I stayed up later than I usually like to to finish it. Also during that time Darren messaged me on facebook to ask if the girl I stand next to in jazz band was single. I presume he wants to ask her out which sucks because I was thinking about doing it (though admittedly I was far off of it because I don't want her to say no then we still have to stand next to each other every day). Anyway they haven't been in the same room since that point, but I'm curious to see him try because I think he'll get rejected, but I want to see someone else's style of picking up chicks. Who knows, it could be a good learning experience.
Friday:
I got up a bit early to meet with my Econ professor about switching to an AA degree for Economics instead of what I'm currently going for which is business. I wound up waiting about half an hour, but I got to see my math professor from last year, which was cool. She told me some stories about her playing french horn beause she didn't know I had played it and she saw me holding it. Eventually, I got invited in and there were some students in there asking n00b questions and since the professor said I was one of his best students, I figured I was qualified to help one of the students there that was having problems. It was nice to get to show off that I'm learning in front of the teacher and I was able to put what the lady was asking in plain terms.
After they left, we checked out the track I'm on and it looks good. I now don't have to take accounting which is a HUGE BONUS. We both agreed how we hated how tedious accounting was. I think I'll enjoy being an accounting major provided I can get into the UW. It's looking good now though, so hopefully it works out. The meeting made me miss psych, but I snuck in at the end to figure out how I did on the test. I then went to French and IT WAS CANCELLED. I stayed up late for nothing. I didn't have it so bad though. The guy that sits next to me said he missed his bus and then caught a later one and sprinted from the stop to get to the class just in time for our scheduled test time and then he saw the sign and just collapsed on the door in frustration. I spent the next hour just doing not much until jazz band started. We got a cool new song and there was an old almuni trumpet player there. I guess he left SCC to go to North Texas University and got in the 1st jazz band (REALLY big deal). He stuck around to play with us and helped us get better on a couple of our songs which was really awesome. The girl was gone so she missed out on it, but meh, her loss.
After school, I was happy to be done with work for the week. I finished up all of my weekend homework, then played some left for dead 2 demo with Steven, Davis, and Sai. After that, I watched some of V (the series premiere first, then the movie from the '80s after that) and then went to bed.
Saturday:
I started playing Fable. It's really fun. After that, we met grandpa at Costco for lunch, then we took him back here to watch the last half of the husky game, then we took him home. That night, I watched more V.
Sunday:
Not having much homework left, I played some Fable then did it quickly. I then spent the rest of the afternoon working on the Terran Theme after football ended for the Seahawks. I spent a lot of time on the terran theme and it's coming along nicely.
Today:
We had our tests today in French. While asking the teacher to repeat a question, I accidentally said por favor instead of si'l-vous plait. In my defense though, I said por favor with a flawless french accent. Luckily we weren't being graded on asking to repeat a question, so no problem with that. Jazz band went well and then I came home and Steven and I watched Stargate. Now I don't have much homework so I'm going to go ahead and get back to the terran theme.
Until tomorrow, then until next week, peace out.

Ahmad's Pyramid Cake
Sai and Steven and I made Ahmad a pyramid cake today. In case you're wondering, it tasted a lot better than the pyramid volcano double layer ice cream poptart cake since we remembered to beat the batter this time. Here were some quotes from Ahmad when we showed him the cake and then some more that occurred later on.
*Upon showing him the cake*
Ahmad: It’s funny because I’m from Egypt and they have pyramids there.
Me: Should we ceranwrap the cake or should we leave it open?
Sai: We can probably just leave it open.
Me: Ok, I just wasn’t sure about it’s structural integrity
Ahmad: Oh, I’M sure about it’s structural integrity.
Ahmad: I’m sure my mom will enjoy this with every bite, taking her back to her days of playing in sand and climbing pyramids.
Ahmad: Well thank you for reuniting me with my heritage.

I'm calling it now, Texans and Saints in the Superbowl
If I'm right, I'll look really smart now come January. Anyway, how's about I get going on last week. It was Halloween week for Guild Wars, so not much happened outside of doing things for that. I'll just hop right into the post now since I don't have anything interesting to say for the intro.
Monday:
I'm overlapping a bit since my post was done late, but Steven and I did some discordway and found it is a very effective way of vanquishing. Of course, when we vanquish with Davis, we'll most likely do the more challenging method that we regularly use. Discordway is awesome though because it is designed to pretty much rape everything really quickly so our only problem is figuring out where we've been in an area.
Tuesday:
I tried to do as much homework as I could, then Steven and I ran some more discordway. We got a couple more areas done rather quickly. After a while, Ashley came to his house and then our vanquishing stopped soon thereafter. It was no matter to me though as I spent the rest of the afternoon farming ToT bags and watching TV.
Wednesday:
We had a sectional day in Jazz Band and the trumpets got a special sectional with Doug. I was able to get the high notes in my part though luckily because I didn't want to have to give the part up because it would be inconvenient for whoever got it. After school, I did more ToT farming and some homework.
Thursday:
I woke up and had a really strong feeling that I would regret showing up to Psychology. I decided it was probably just because I was figuring out all we do is take notes. Steven and I arrived at the class only to discover it had been cancelled for the day. D'oh. Steven went to the library to print something, then we both went back to his house so he could show me a successful chaos plains run. After that, I headed back to SCC for Jazz Band.
Friday:
My French professor emailed the class the night before telling us that class was cancelled. I planned on skipping psych then so I wouldn't have an hour break, but Steven reminded me an optional assignment was due, so I showed up. After that, he and Ben(Tim), and I went to the library and Tim went somewhere and Steven and I did some studying for some classes. After that, we had our recording day in Jazz Band with a pretty weak turnout, so we just wound up rehearsing mostly. After Jazz Band, I came home and packed and we left to pick up Kathryn at school and then we picked up dad, then we headed down to Vancouver for the concert that the three of them plus one of Kathryn's friends were going to. We met my grandma at our favorite restaurant there, then they went to the concert. Grandma and I went back to her house and watched Watchmen and then I watched Stargate after that.
Saturday:
We had to get an early start to get home on time since Kathryn's friend had to set up for the carnival at Syre. We got home in fairly good time, but not a record for me though I was going fast the whole way. I spent the rest of the day doing some farming of ToT bags.
Sunday:
We met grandpa for lunch and the end of the Seahawks game. After that, we went over to my aunt's house to move some furniture around as well as take some garbage out. My uncle took a lot of stuff for my cousins which was good because we are really needing to clear out space. After that, I came back and did some French homework.
Today:
I remembered we had a psych test, but it got moved back a day, which was nice. Then, our French professor decided to move our test back to Friday instead of tomorrow, so I'm a pretty happy camper right now. I have band 3 times this week, which will kind of suck, but it won't rob me of too much time, so it should be fine. Sai's coming tomorrow, so that's also going to be cool. Now I'm going to try to finish as much of my homework as I can before band so I have more time to study/do nothing during the week.

Me: "Rachel Sydow became a fan of YoVille and Falling asleep while cuddling."
WHAT?
O_O
O: well she's probably meaning falling asleep with you and cuddling with you
Me: haha
i must admire your optimism
if she was really a fan of that, she should make a fan page for "having sex with david"
in fact, i should totally make a page for that
O: i might become a fan
me: haha
i bet it would have more fans than my "grammar police" group has members
O: probably
Me: haha
http://www.facebook.com/search/?q=having+sex+with+david&init=quick#/group.php?gid=3953203194&v=info&ref=search
O: lol
beaten to the punch
Me: well not entirely
its a specific group
but some of the stuff in it was funny
see now the danger in making my own having sex with me fan page is that i might never get sex
girls would be like eww he's gross
and since they aren't fans of it, i then have no chance
because everyone knows the only things you have/do/will ever like are the things you fan on facebook
since you can literally be a fan of ANYTHING
"not getting toothpaste on your foot"
O: "not spilling hot sauce on your penis while it's erect and about to enter a woman's anus"
Me: haha
i can't beat that one
O: win!
Me: i need to blog this convo
O: yay, +1 mentions on David's blog => +.00000001 internet fames
Me: hahathat's a very small number that you didn't have before!
^number more than you had before
and who knows
maybe that's the difference between having people being fans of having sex with you and not
O: well only one way to find out
Me: "Wow, Orion? I totally heard about that guy on David's blog! OMG Tara, let's have sex with him!!! I hope he likes my size 46DD breasts! OMG, they're so wet, here let me help you get that shirt off. kissing ensues No, let's save it for Orion! Tee hee, okay!"
ok wow after reading that, i got way too into character
but that's essentially how it would go down
pun intended ; )
O: hahahahhahahahahahhahahahhahaha
Me: im glad you enjoyed that
O: that was hilarious

I almost forgot to post today, but luckily I remembered in band.
Because you totally would have noticed my forgetting to post today and posting tomorrow instead. I think this post will be kept fairly brief because I'm hoping to get back to ToT bag farming in Guild Wars since I'm making good money off of that now.
Monday:
Band was as usual, rather uneventful. Ken wasn't there, so I didn't hear anything of honor band. I didn't tonight either.
Tuesday:
I spent most of the day doing some Guild Wars trying to learn the new Chaos Plains solo farmer or trying out the Assassin build for raptor farming.
Wednesday:
Pretty much the same as Tuesday. We had a test in psych, which I did averagely on. After school, Steven and I had our first SWUF practice. There were four girls there!!!!! (zomgs, we already met our minimum for girls!!) and no guys, but one of the girls was our leading female scorer from Bottomless Stack Fries. Steven and I spent the practice teaching how to throw, doing drills, and generally realizing how out of shape we are.
Thursday:
Test corrections day, it was boring and most of the class was spent debating the answer to one really tricky question.
Friday:
I gave Kathryn all the orange I had so she could wear it for the homecoming assembly. I guess Shorewood lost the game 52-0 (Kathryn called at 9:00 to say the game was over (for those of you that remember, band used to get let out early at 9:30)). I spent most of the day Trick or Treat bag farming. I would have been watching Seinfeld, but I was still waiting on the episodes to arrive, so I decided to watch Star Wars Episode 4. After that ended, Davis got on as I was about to sign off, so I took some haze mints and the three of us (Steven included) vanquished a bit. I must have been really quiet because I was really tired. All I remember about vanquishing was there was a boss with a really huge patrol path. After that, there is evidence to suggest I went upstairs, took a shower, and fell asleep in my own bed, but I have absolutely no recollection of doing that, so I guess props to tired me.
Saturday:
I was getting some Seinfeld episodes, but they were taking a while, so I left my computer on while I went to the Husky game and watched them get pwnt. When I got back, I did more farming. I decided to watch Episode 5 and then Episode 6 as well. It was pretty awesome, but once again, I found myself very tired after I was done with them at around 1am.
Sunday:
I spent some time farming, but I also went to my aunt's house to get another load of garbage. The truck has been taking out garbage from my grandpa's house averaging about 1/4 ton per truckload. So far, we're at 3/4 of a ton of garbage, all that he brought home by hand over years and years and years.
Today:
It was a pretty plain day. It was raining really hard, but other than that, nothing stands out. Band was uneventful and now the Seinfeld episodes are here, so I'm off to Rata Sum to farm some ToT bags. Peace out until next week.

I guess it didn't matter that there was a delay. Oh well, here's a new post. Will you comment on it? Well I hope so, but that's up to you.
Well howdy there. I don't know if anyone reads this blog currently as there are no comments *hint hint.* I assume you do though, so I will keep posting (ok to be honest, I would post regardless). Well now I have finished yet another week of classes. They went well and I guess since I'm already posting a vague emotional description of last week, that must mean I have nothing good for my intro paragraph, so I'll jump right into the week.
Monday:
I came into band and Ken greeted me and asked me how the scout thing was the week before. It's odd because he seems to really have taken a shine to me this year. He also said I should apply for this intercollegit honor band that meets in Reno this year. When it was first announced, I thought about doing it (since Rachel is in Reno), but then it sounded like a thing for music majors. Anyway, with Ken saying I should go for this, I think I will definitely audition and hey if I wind up going, perhaps I can hang out with Rachel while I'm there, which would be pretty cool.
Tuesday:
I tried to get a lot of homework done so that I could play some Guild Wars. I did get in some Guild Wars, but much later in the day because I was on a roll with my micro homework.
Wednesday:
We found out in psychology we could turn in our papers early for 2 points extra credit. I decided to do that and spent 4 hours analyzing an article about old people. I thought the article would be funny and entertaining because the cover picture was funny, but the article was actually really depressing. After that, it was late, so I did some micro homework.
Thursday:
I spent the first part of the afternoon playing some Guild Wars with Steven, then we got a bit bored and signed off to do homework.
Friday:
During psychology, we learned about sleep cycles and stuff like that. The majority of the class was spent listening to people describing strange dreams or sleep quirks they have, wondering what part of sleep it occurred in, the professor telling them it was REM sleep, and Steven and I facepalming at the stupidity. After school, I played a lot of AB with Steven until we realized it was 2 minutes to Stargate, so we afked through a whole ab without anyone calling us for leeching. We of course lost, but it was because the Kurzicks suck. After Stargate, we vanquished some southern shiverpeaks with Davis, which was pretty fun and pretty difficult at times. Theres a skill in Guild Wars called "Vengeance." It's actually not a bad skill for fights. Davis didn't know about it though and Steven had him convinced that if he fell behind the group, that was why he would spontaneously die. It was extremely hilarious listening to his reactions partly because Steven was getting so into it and partly because it was so late and partly because it was so damn funny. Eventually he figured it out, but not before Steven and I had many good laughs about it.
Saturday:
I went over to my aunt's house to help my dad's secretary's son get some stuff out of the pod for his new house. It was nice to see that we were not only getting rid of furniture we didn't want and that it was being used by someone who needed it. After that, Kathryn's friends came over. Originally, they were going to go to the zoo. Unfortunately it was raining, which actually turned out to be a good thing. While I would have gone to the zoo to see the baby snow leopard, since it was raining, they decided to go to the mall. That gave me the afternoon to myself, so I signed on and Steven and I played some Guild Wars. We accumulated more than the other 5 guilds in our alliance (that' right, we're in an alliance now! (they suck balls (Steven says its a bunch of one person guilds (so why don't they all become one guild??? (damn, that was a long chain of parentheses))))). So Steven and I played with this one guy for about half that time. He was pretty cool and pretty good. Like I said, we got a lot of faction. Soon enough, Kathryn and friends came back and took over downstairs, so I brought up the NES and the 360 to my room and played those for a while before going to bed.
Sunday:
I spent most of the afternoon doing dump runs because my grandpa had a ton of garbage (well actually .5 tons that we took away) at his house that we had to get rid of so the house could be painted. Luckily most of it was metal othewise it would have cost a lot more than it did to get rid of it. After that, I did a lot of French homework and then went to bed.
Today:
Psychology was rather uneventful except the professor announcing that due to the amount of questions on Friday, we were now behind schedule. In French, the three of us (the guy next to me, the cool girl in front of me, and myself) had a quick study session before the test. The test went pretty well and I got out early. At jazz band, the girl trumpet was also there early, so we talked for about 25 mintues before band started. I guess she has another year before she can transfer, so we probably won't have classes together anymore (although I might be doing jazz band next year because its fun), but we decided when we're seniors, we'll take a wine tasting course at the UW for elective credit (I didn't even know there was one, but hey if I need an elective, that sounds pretty excellent). Band was rather uneventful and now I find myself here at my computer making a post. I guess I'll see how this honor band thing pans out tonight. Until next week, peace out.
